I am on my 5th year with a Shorai. Stored it on the bike, in the garage. Never been a problem. However, not a constant charge. More time unplugged then on tricked charge. Starts instantly, (Psssstttt, I talk to the bike and say something rude to it and it better start. Lol)

My pleasure. Long weekend. Most of the route will keep you away from traffic. Depending, of you are stay away from 10. if possible. The one place you will have tourist traffic is from the top of Blue Mountain. Great views hence the tourists.
