Noise restrictions bylaw coming for Oakville

Brian P, Caledon is aware of the issue of Fast vs Slow, the police were trained to set the responds to slow, yet the bylaw is incorrectly written as fast. It is expected to be amended at some point. Many other cities appear to be adopting this standard, hopefully without error. As someone...

    Largish Generators

You have to make sure if you are wiring it into your house to get a transfer switch that also switches the Neutral. A generator above 5kVA will certainly be neutral bonded. If the neutral is not switched then you basically end up with two neutrals and can still back feed to the grid. In the...

    Gel-Coating

I'd check with a marine repair shop. I really can't recommend any, but most the boat repair places do this I believe.

    spark plugs

I haven't cleaned a sparkplug in awhile since they aren't all that expensive. When I do clean one though I wouldn't sandblast it. I would use a wire brush and a very small file. Wire brush to get off the loosest carbon/debris and then the very thin file (from a spark plug cleaning tool or...

Harley-Davidson to recall over 300,000 motorcycles

Certain 2009-2012 Touring and Trike models are being recalled because the rear brake light switch may be exposed to excessive heat from the exhaust system. I didn't know they had exhausts on them LOL :lmao:

    Any Sushi FIENDS?

The Rolls with mayo are big in Japan with the younger crowd. Not my cup of tea, best sashimi was at a place in kumamoto Japan, served with the still moving looking at me, just missing two filets.

    Speed Limiter Debate

This same MP introduces this same bill every session. It hasn't gone anywhere ever. The problem is not from the manufacturers but from the operators. If manufacturers limited the vehicles operators would simply defeat the device and modify their vehicle. Sure make it illegal to defeat the...

Opinion: Do you use your rear brake when emergency braking?

Since we are talking about emergency stops, I'm going to make the assumption we are also talking about straight line as well. How much affect does all this weight shifting really have on the rate of deceleration. I'm going to go out a limb here and say most of the energy is being transfered...

    Any cement heads here?

We poured a small pad, just contacted the concrete company and they called us when they had a truck with left overs in it. We had to be ready in an hour. It was all framed and ready to go so an hour lead time was no problem. We knew it would be this day or that day kind of thing Saved money...

Portable toolkit that would fit cbr600rr and others

Owners manual shows that it should come with one (at least for 2011) under the rear seat. I didn't go look at the kit but it should have more than two wrenches, it at least has a wire strap I believe for securing your helmet to the helmet lock as well (according to the owners manual)

These maps that we are speaking of are the garmin street maps for NA? I currently only have Canada in my Oregon for streets as well as Topo and trails. I learned quickly that it was Canada only when I crossed into NY
