    I, Motorcyclist

Sounds more like the author is making fun of motorcycle forum goers. Maybe he was serious but I doubt it. Probably just someone tired of reading the same chain of dribble. Sent from my commodore 64 via tapatalk

    Extending riding season...

Gerbings makes electricly heated gear. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for. I can do highway in december and be toasty. Not warm... Toasty. It's not bulky because it's a jacket liner so it's really quite thin. I tried heated grips and those were ok to a certain point but they won't help...

I get that you think Scooters are wild great MacDoc and I'm not looking to argue, it just is what is is, no scooter. I feel like you're trying really hard to tell everyone why scooters are better or more practical, gas, 1000km days in comfort, lots of storage, nice turning... it's not that...

Great.... Pegassus' Plan To Lead A Group Ride Is Snuffed By Rain

I know I should just leave it be but... peggy, I don't understand your math. you're saying no ninja 250 'plastic spoons' as they're too slow? but you're saying you don't want your license taken away so you won't go 140 like those SS guys. but the ninja 250 tops out around 160. so how is it too...

    Fairing Plastic Welder?!

Well I think my first time with a $20 plastic welder worked out just fine. feel free to look at the pics in my signature and let me know. in 3 years the fairing held up fine. it was my first time dealing with ABS. granted my background is a little different than most people, but still. I see...

    Fairing Plastic Welder?!

I hear he's also super awesome. not hard. you can find plastic welding tools on ebay but for small stuff just a cheapo $11 soldering iron will work.

How do you deal with generally unpleasant people?

mmm is just rolling the sarcasm as always but I agree.. everyone is saying to keep a cool head and let him be, perhaps even validate the civic driver that he was RIGHT to do that? are you all NUTS? teach him to continue trying to kill people? pinning him down and waiting 45 minutes for the...

    Air conditioning for a motorcycle?!!?

it looks like it's just a bucket of ice and then tubes of water with a pump. you could build that with a 12v pump from active surplus ($11) tubing from rona, and sew the tubes onto something like a vest or even your liner. wandering around with ice and buying new ice.. just seems like too much...

Best Alarm System - Unlimited Budget

at some point the bike will exit the back of the van. but after reading a bit more about the i1100 it looks like the scorpio doesn't have a battery backup (correct me if I'm wrong) so if they steal your bike they'll probably disconnect the battery to shut up the alarm, or rip out the alarm...

Best Alarm System - Unlimited Budget

who did you purchase it from? the scorpio site states to work in canada it has to be purchased from a Canadian reseller. I'm on the fence between a lower end scoprio + gtu10 garmin tracker or just one full blown package. it's too bad the i1000 can't use the lcd remote. (or does it?)

Carrying additional gas in a can

twisted throttle sells some metal stove fuel cannisters (like mec) but also the mounting rings so you could mount 1 or 2 bottles to the rear of each side case. assuming you have a rectangular case. I don't think it would work well on a v35 or something curvy

    Which 500???

ninja 500 is water cooled which on a hot day of sitting in traffic I beleive helps keep you a little cooler a bit over air cooled. could be wrong. you can stiffin the suspension on either bike. but for a new rider it's not really a big deal. more fun to leave for season 2. good suspension...

    Riding with Pets

I've been curious about this. what's the chest carrier? guess it wouldn't work at speed or be safe? what does riding do to a pets ears at faster speeds, is it not dangerous for them? I've considered taking a givi 52L top box and cutting a hole in the top lid, adding brackets for a leash, but...

how is shooting an Olympic sport?

just to clarify I'm not saying if motorcycling is or isn't a sport, or if gun firing is or isn't. just pointing out how hypocritical it is saying hanging onto a bike is a sport but holding a gun isn't.
