I see CAA as an insurance policy in an emergency. I may or may not use it. If I don't use it at the end of the year, I'm not to disappointed as I obviously didn't encounter any problems. I ride a lot and considering the $ spent on gear and other accessories, CAA is cheap in comparison.

Visibility and street car tracks are your main concerns. Be careful crossing tracks and try not to stop or brake on them. There are several sprays that can be used to act as an anti-fog or just leave the visor slightly open.
I work on the cnr. of University and Adelaide and there is tons of street parking on Simcoe, both south and north of Adelaide. I normally park here during the day and if you say you don't mind leaving it out overnight, there is free parking. I personally won't park my bike out overnight...
Couldn't agree with you more. What I've found is that these shops are now taking on so many manufacturers, it becomes more prevalent that the sales people know zero about the various bikes that they are selling. What works for me is I do all my research online and ask other owners before making...
Bought a new Tiger 800 last year around this time. I've had 1 recall done so far, but have had great service so far. I like the fact that I can view bikes without a sales person bugging me, however normally go there during the week so its less busy than a Sat.
Practice is the key when learning any skill; the more you practice, the better you get. One will always maintain the good behaviours immediately after taking a course vs. a year after when bad behaviours/habits set in.
