Starting to get the itch for a more modern bike. Suggestions for a modern naked?

At one point I was thinking about getting a 2013-2015 Tuono. Was THIS close to getting a 2013 from a guy in Sudbury that posted on kijiji with a pretty decked out Tuono . . . I believe he was a firefighter. Anyways, had the AR exhaust, updated more comfy seat, tail tidy, frame sliders, etc...

    Canadian Online Stores

Ya BS has good pricing on a few things for sure. I've just gotten enough bad customer service from Tony that I won't send my money that way any more when I have gotten nothing but great customer service from Canada's Motorcycle and GP Bikes. Shame, I've definitely spent enough money at BS, but...

Shoei X-14 just got from Bluestreak

Definitely sounds like you have the wrong headshape for the helmet. You may be like me and be more of a round oval, and the Shoei may be too much of a long oval for your head. The extra front to back head space often means that when it fits snug/comfortable on the sides and every where else...

Bell Vortex HJC FG-17 HJC CL-16 HJC CL-17 Joe Rocket R1000X Scorpion EXO-R410 And those are just the ones I'm aware of off the top of my head that are all sub $200 CDN and Snell approved.

    Fuel tank lining

The Tuono/Aprilia folks with the composite tanks swear by Caswell: http://www.caswellplating.com/epoxy-gas-tank-sealer.html

Cheap wireless com system for rider passenger

Ya, I didn't end up installing the speakers at all in the end. I have a pretty decent set of ear phones with triple flanges. I like them for riding because they both act as an ear plug to block out windnoise, as well as offering significantly better sound. I'm used to riding with these ear...

Cheap wireless com system for rider passenger

Thanks for the comparison. I recently picked up a Sena 10S. Really happy with it except the speakers could be more full range, as opposed to only mids and highs. They were more than loud enough, just not a very full range sound. Probably more and less noticeable depending on what music you...

Which Sena model did you get? How would you compare it to this ebay unit?

I've ordered a bunch from Bluestreak, but I must say I find Tony a curmudgeon and difficult to deal with in any manner other than in person. His customer service ranges from business like, professional and polite, to testy, and seemingly as though he could not care less about your order of...

Korean Food... Recommended Dishes For A First Timer...

There's a place on Yonge just north of Steeles called Home of Hot Taste. They do awesome fried spicy chicken and cheap premium import bottle beer, along with all the other typical Korean classics. But they are by far known for their chicken. If you go during busier times of the day, almost every...

    Waterproof HD Camera's

Couldn't you just remove the camera from the helmet and be on your way? Most are held on by clamps or suction cups no?

    Coverage for leathers and helmet?

I see. Thanks for the explanation. If so, does that mean an action camera mounted to the bike would be covered under the vehicle insurance, and one mounted to your helmet would fall under home insurance?

    Coverage for leathers and helmet?

Really?! I fully understand that say when you have your car broken into on your driveway and contents are stolen that it would be covered under the house policy, but the house policy would apply on the helmet in a motorcycle collision? That's an interesting situation. What's the reasoning behind...

    Bolt extractors

As long as there is about 1" of the threaded portion remaining, it should work. Just remember to run a tap through things, then use copper based high temp anti-seize so you can get it off next time. Good luck.

I have used stud extractors like this before when I was doing a turbo job. Worked great. http://images.esellerpro.com/2921/I/507/4/SS292C.jpg

    Buying a bike in Quebec . . . am I missing anything?

Got a bit of a snobbish impression from them. Literally said, we're in the biggest city in Canada, we don't have to bargain. Wheelsport and Two Wheel are in tiny markets and have to bargain just to move product. Plus they don't have what I'm looking for in stock so it's a moot point. They only...
