This is all correct information, the leo vince SBK slip on and MJS headers is the route i took seemed a lot easier than chopping the headers for the midpipe and probably ends up being same price..

seriously, if your gonna do a slip on may as well get the 05 headers, look it up its like $300 extra and will actually do something which the slip on will not.
The 09 r6 was one of the only jap bikes with a good looking slip on, if you dont care about sound or performance id say just leave it...

a leo vince slip on and 05 headers will run you about $1000 if i remember correctly.
It's a cheapo full system you get pretty much the same power, same sound just slightly heavier cus the headers arn't ti, had it on my old r6 and was quite happy with it.

The newer 821cc L-twins on the hypermotard and monsters has the 24,000km service intervals so no worse than the Japanesa. Same with the older 848 EVO engine that's in my streetfighter, loving the bike so far perfect streetbike and I believe 2015 was the last year their making these!
