Agreed this is why I choose the Gs500F when I was making this decision last month.

I'm a new rider as well I Was thinking of a 250cc at first but I ended up getting a suzuki gs500F it's great ike for learning and has enough power too plus there's quite a few people on here who have one. (also it stays under 600cc which is great for insurance)

I recently got http://www.mec.ca/AST/ShopMEC/MemberPicks/Packs/PRD~5010-212/deuter-race-exp-air-daypack.jsp as a bag for the bike its great doesn't stick to your back because of the form so great airflow and you stay cool while riding and it has a helmet harness so you can put your helmet on it...

Alright well thanks a lot guys I've had someone with a bit more experience ride it and they said it's fine and somewhat normal as well, I will try the push down on the gear lever while rolling forward or back that sounds good thanks everyone.
