    Canadian Race Bodywork

K Thanks guys, I'm just starting to source suppliers etc. Test results on my right wrist not good, I won't be riding this year, so I am looking ahead to next summer. Doesn't mean I can't build stuff in the meanwhile!

Who's still in around? Mimic? Squidskins (his website is still up) and I think Bluestreak still sells Armor Bodies. Is there Hotbodies in Canada? Any other recomendations? Specifcally, Looking for an upper only, but will consider a full set.

Update: Have to go OEM if fitting OEM pistons. Tried Total Seal in the USA. they do not have rings to fit. Tried Hastings in Barrie, they dont sell direct to customers redirected me to a Saskatechewan distributor. So Suzuki it must be. Boo.

    Rosey Toes Safety?

    1) That one poster is just trolling looking for someone to go on record saying that Ted does shady safety certs - he doesnt. All opinions I have read is that he gives sound advice, and if the bike failed, he is well priced and suits to fix it. 2) I hate safety certs, however, as good as I am...

Nail in rear tire... Okay to patch or replace?

There is a product which is a pull through plug with a patch all in one unit. It installs from inside the tire, so tire removal is required. Prep the hole like a patch, pull the plug portion through, and affix the patch portion. I would ride on the above ^^^ mentioned plug/patch fix on the...

Sub 1:20 TMP dudes feeling bored?

There has been a lot of good feedback regarding lines etc so far. I think the only glaring thing(s) I will comment on is stay on the gas longer, and if you run out of gear but still have more track, then pull another gear and stay on the gas more. You can pull another gear on the front...

$3200 made in USA bike brand new ???? would you buy one?

Sure I'd consider buying one. The best part is you will probably be able to pick one up for CHEAP as a used bike in a couple of years.

lol no worries Rockerguy. As for someones comment about Canadian shopping etc. I called around, attempted to locate a dealer which would have them in stock. I called an alternative Canadian supplier, to no avail. So, I have to shop abroad, or buy after riding season done.

Alternative to OEM piston rings (suzuki)?

Thanks all! I will try Total seal in barrie (thanks bitzz) but I just got off the phone with the dealer 'cross the border, and not only is the part cheaper with less sales tax, but the US Suzuki warehouse has the parts in stock, where Canada is Back ordered. Thanks again! -Scotty PS: Oh, and...

Alternative to OEM piston rings (suzuki)?

Rebuilding my old 2001 GSXR 600 engine, needs new piston rings, which, surprise surprise - are on back order from Suzuki. Anyone recommend alternative supplier? I've got an email off to Wiseco for a ring kit, as thier ring kits aren't exactly 100% match to OEM sizes. Cylinder bore: 66.98mm...

No 11b chance in Kingston! PO office is FAST.

Unfortunately the disclosure is clear and to the point, and the case is very straight forward. So, IMO there was no point in taking it farther. The cop showed up too, and I tried some trickery which the prosecutor wouldn't fall for. So.. that was that. Interesting part: There were abolut 12...

UPDATE: Wow, not efficient when it comes to disclosure. Got a message that disclosure mailed a few days ago, and that I might receive it early this coming week. Which means, I'll have a whopping 7 days at MOST before trial with the disclosure.
