Good points. Perhaps I'll have to wait till spring. Only concern is I don't want insurance to end up negating past rider history. Don't know how long it takes till that concern takes effect. As of now, it is fine, but don't want to push my luck too much.
Thanks Priller, seems that you know exactly where my questions are coming from.
Ultimately the points you listed is why I was looking at the RSV4, then have heard the comments on the Tuono on how it has more torque and HP below 10k rpm and so that had me questioning me going the RSV4 route...
It basically comes down to getting older and the back not behaving quite as good as it should Not a big issue now, but who knows what the future brings. I was originally looking at the RSV4 as it seems a bit more comfortable that what the RC was. But seems the Tuono maybe that more...
I see we have similar mindsets. BUT one thing to put into consideration is that I'm considering an Aprilia Tuono, which isn't your typical naked bike. Could it be a better option for someone starting to see their 50's in the not to distant future?
For those of you that have spent years riding sportbikes, have gotten a bit older in age and have moved onto naked bikes. Has anyone regretted the decision?
After selling the RC in the summer of 2019 I thought I could move away from riding. But with all these covid times I'm figuring I might...
I was in exact same position as you were with my RC51. I had it since new. But it sat in the garage and it became more of a task to get it out and take it for a spin. Just to keep all the seals in good order. Hard to let go as I had it since new. But my look on it was to put it out there and let...
Sorry, bit misleading. Also ended up having to go with the brand name because the kimpex battery is out of stock and estimated to be in stock in 8 weeks.
Kimpex for my bike has the Yuasa shown at $265 (which is essentially list price). Got mine from Saskbattery for 195 plus tax and free shipping. The Kimpex battery on the other hand is shown at $85 which is alot cheaper. But will stick with the brand name for now.
Yep. Same with me. Arrived on the 4th business day. Assume they want to ensure they are shipping out good material instead of taking the change. My is an AGM battery so didn't matter to me anyways.
OK. Was just wondering if it was all going to be rebuilt. Since the old burger king is still vacant and the used car dealer that was further south has moved into the old Pfaff building.
So the Kia dealership is leaving the Yonge St. location? Guess that whole stretch is going to be developed? Anyone know who owns that property on the east side of Yonge?
Closest would be Suzuki of Newmarket. But do I dare to walk into that shop? I work down by the 401 so any place is an option, was just wondering. May end up supporting Pete again. With his trusted tire prices and quick delivery.
Where do you guys buy your replacement batteries. For reliability I think it's time I get a replacement. Bike cranks and will start. But when the engine is hot (say stopping for gas) it barely cranks. But will fire most of the time. I put a multimeter on it and when cranking it's down to 6.5V so...
Further to your feelings, I don't understand how the crew for Bradl's team can stay composed and do their work. Great tribute by Red Bull Honda but would be difficult for the team.
