I'm moving just outside of Markham where none of the usual suspects provide internet service. Anyone here have experience with alternate providers? Xplorenet I believe is an option, anyone used them or any other provider in "rural" areas?

Hey Jeff, have they finished repaving the JBR yet? Looked like a lot of gravel on your trip. Did this trip 5 years ago, heading back up in June with 4 or 5 others. Was hoping for a less frost heaved trip.

Agree completely with your opinion of their pricing practices, and not trying to defend them in any way, but it's tough to sell anything when they shut the doors for 3-4 months every year.

The rates are set to one persons risk factor. i.e. age, marital status, where you reside, your driving history etc. The problem I have is rates creeping up EVERY year even though your personal risk factor has not changed.

Anyone have any idea how many people usually attend these evenings? If attendance is low 2 hours is a lot of track time.
