My boots and gloves got soaked too. Though I didn't care very much. Gloves are cheap and the boots are at least 20 years old. Pack a second pair of socks in your bag for tomorrow.
No. Put them by a dehumidifier. It's leather they'll be fine. Don't put them by a heater because I don't think rapid uneven heat drying is good for it.
One risk item I haven't yet seen mentioned in this thread (if it has been mentioned I apologize), are insurance issues. Much of the discussion is focused on safety and LEOs.
Speaking specifically about 2 wheels, if one was to have an incident that would qualify to make an insurance claim, is...
I know a condo where visitors have to have their cars valet parked and wait in the lobby for the tenant to come take them upstairs.
I don't know what residents have to do, I'm assuming they have a card registered to their name. If they want to give the card to the van fine but now there is an...
Nice, but only works if you're willing to pay the gas to drive there and back. It may not be worth it for some such as myself who live east of Toronto. Good idea for people who live in Hamilton however.
Brian, I am someone who oftens pulls the clutch when braking for a smoother faster stop. I find I often don't have enough distance to shift 3-5 gears one by one down to 1st. Sometimes I try doing them which just makes the rpms go higher. Rev limiter is 40 at 1st on my bike so if I am in 2nd at...
Yes actually. If the voltage goes too low the bike can shut down. The thing is, the tech should have been able to identify that if indeed the battery is a candidate.
It's a very old one. It's the Dutch flower auction model. The producers need to sell their goods but don't want to be ripped off so they have it count down until someone buys it.
Canadian food farmers should do the same thing.
Sure why not, on my little 2 fiddy I hit the limiter at 40 km/hr in 1st. Mind you I don't usually charge out of parking lots at 40 into oncoming traffic.
Not to sidetrack but it is not that simple. The EPA testing is done with ethanol free fuel. Here only 91 most places is ethanol free. My bike specifies "minimum" 87. This makes me suspicious that "optimum" might actually be a different number. So I've been using 91. I'm also an air cooled engine.
I have a light bike, 326 lbs. In the states people with this bike apparently ride in hurricanes and tropical storms. I can't even imagine doing that. They must have replaced the stock tires.
Hi, I don't have the expertise to know the answer but as this is a relevant thread I am now curious, this picture I took outside Tim Hortons last year, is this a car tire or a motorcycle rear tire?
