If you could live anywhere in Canada, where would it be?

Stratford is the small town that I am from. I left because I couldn't find a good job there. I do like that area, but somewhat bored of it... most roads in grid squares, all farms outside the cities, mostly flat. One of those small towns in Southern BC might be the ticket... a place like Grand...

If you could live anywhere in Canada, where would it be?

Theoretically speaking, of course, if you could live pretty much anywhere in Canada while keeping your income about the same (+/- a few k/year), where would it be? I'm from a small town and have lived in the GTA for 10 years now. Every year I hate it more and more -- the traffic, the bad...

    A mini GS -- G310GS

It's funny how the two guys on this forum that are so cheap they need to buy a Chinese bike show up in the BMW thread.... opposite ends of the spectrum boys? I'd comment on your grammar and spelling, but I don't think it will make any difference. It's great to see the public school system at...

The Bad Drivers of Ontario Thread

Re: Honda CRV hits rider This one is my own. Nothing too dramatic, just a trucker all over the road. I think the white SUV crowded him, so the trucker pushed back... a dangerous game though. Happened on the QEW/403 heading West at Burloak Road. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFc1rWHUJWU

    A mini GS -- G310GS

Yes... because KTM is going to be lax to quality control like Zongshen is, eh? They will tolerate spoked wheels being destroyed by tiny rocks or bikes showing up missing pieces, right? Look, I know you have your heart set on owning some Chinese junk, so do it already if you are so confident...

2017 New Model Thread (INTERMOT etc.)

I don't like what they've done with the Vstrom.... not that it was a pretty bike before, but that lower huge can is too much:

    Keihin FCR39 in a DRZ

I'm looking to replace the stock carb on my DRZ with a FCR39 pumper carb as the story is this mod makes for a great improvement in power delivery. The issue is, this carb in a kit from thumpertalk or procycle is damn pricey ($700 to $900USD)... more than I am willing to spend. A guy I ride...

Costs Associated With Insuring Multiple Bikes

You're a bit high for my estimate... my DRZ is $240/year, Vstrom is $429.... both liability and comp, no collision, I am 40, had my M for 20+ years, through The Personal with a good group discount. The DR was quoted in the $550 range for me.

Costs Associated With Insuring Multiple Bikes

Yeah, I get very little discount by having two bikes insured... basically full rate on both. The DR650 actually quoted out slightly higher than my Vstrom.... not sure why. My DRZ is less than 1/2 the cost to insure either -- but I'm old and have had my M for a long time.

    A mini GS -- G310GS

Although I am still waiting to see if the KTM 390 adventure comes to our market... that could be a bike that could replace both of mine:

who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon

Re: who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon & TT250 Selling cheap cheaply made poor quality bikes with massive quality control issues (that customers write off as no big deal because they don't want to look like idiots for wasting their money on this garbage) while pretending they are able...

who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon

Re: who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon & TT250 It seems the CSC importer was a bit butt-hurt about that youtube video and posted an angry response: http://californiascooterco.com/blog/?p=23145 I guess their egos are as fragile as their bikes. And the video blogger's response to the...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

There are just so many loony toon sellers out there for everything... I found a rifle optic for sale, retails for $320 with free shipping... guy asks $320 for it saying it's brand new (but he'll save me the tax, I just have to spend the gas to go get it!)... oh, but the box is open and he is...

who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon

Re: who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon & TT250 I ride both my DRZ and Vstrom through fairly challenging offroad. Both have been through deep sand, mud, water crossings, and single track too, but obviously much slower than someone on a KTM 250.... so I am not sure if know what you mean...

who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon

Re: who will take a chance ??? CSC RX3 Cyclon & TT250 I think the DR650 is a great bike... a real tank, and very simple -- screw adjustable valves that could be done trail side (but by Inreb's experience doesn't need it that often). Lasts forever, simple to maintain, decent resale value, lots...
