    Motorcycle Winter Tires

Are these tires enough to satisfy the Quebec mandatory winter tire law, therefore allowing Quebec riders to still take their bikes out during the warm periods of these mild winters?

    Garmin Zumo 660 LM owners.

I have the same issue with the wiring for my Montana. Ideally I should cut and solder the wires so it's the right length, but I think I'd have to make two splices as I have excess wire before and after the fuse. So I just wrapped up the access, taped it in a bundle, and stick it under the...

    where to buy motorcycle gear?

I don't claim to have all the answers, but I suspect that for most people, a shop that is only open 9-5, Mon to Fri, might as well be closed. Saturday also usually doesn't work for me either as there is more in my life than just motorcycles. Hell, even my dentist books appointments on Saturdays...

    Stinger trailer experiences .

I wonder how people all over Europe tow 'caravans' with itty-bitty 4-bangers, seemingly with no problem? Sure, they have a lot more diesel vehicles than we do, but I doubt all those small diesels have much higher load capacities than their gasoline equivalents, considering they are likely built...

    where to buy motorcycle gear?

I do at least 90 to 95% of my buying online, as the existing shops don't do themselves any favours. Look at twistedthrottle and dualsportplus's hours, for example: Twisted Throttle: Showroom & Call Centre Monday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Tuesday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM...

    Tires for KLX250SF

Fortnine has 13 models of tire that are 140/70-17: https://fortnine.ca/en/motorcycle-tires/70_-17-140_mu and 76 choices for 120/70-17: https://fortnine.ca/en/motorcycle-tires/70_-17-120_mr , so you should be able to find something. I'm pretty happy with Pilot Road 4, which is available in your...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Close... it was a bit older than 2 but looked brand new. Had lots of farkle too like a fmj pipe, jetted, seat concepts, etc etc... I only got that deal because a colleague at work was selling it and he gave me a good deal to avoid kijiji tire kickers. 10/10, would buy again... in fact, I could...

Anyone have experience with kijiji mechanics?

Cheapest place is likely http://www.kapscomoto.com/ I have one from there and it does the job. Edit... almost does the job, it's a bit short for a Vstrom but thats nothing a couple planks on either side doesn't solve.

    GPS for Motorbikes

For those of you that ride offroad, I love my Montana 610 loaded with backroad maps... very easy to find trails now (in particular ATV trails, snowmobile trails, logging roads, etc), awesome amount of detail. Pricey though -- $600+ for the GPS, $150 for BRMB. $60 for the mount. Combined with...

    Best mobile for kids?

How often will they be talking on it? Rarely or often? If rarely, one of the cheapest pay-as-you-go plans is 711 speakout. All of their refills last a year, so a $25 refill is also good for one year... obviously won't work out that great though if they actually use it...

    Thoughts on these gear?

I think I have a pair of Thor socks and an expensive pair of Klim socks... Joe Bass, the advantage to me is that they pull up above the knee. I wear knee/shin pads that strap to the leg instead of the fit in pants type, so wearing socks helps prevent the knee pad straps from rubbing my calves...

    Choosing tires via review

I'm no tire scientist but have never cared if a tire is bias or radial or if the combo is mixed and never had a problem, but I'm not very picky and just make whatever I have work. Yep, Bob is still pounding out the miles and leading Creemore group rides. Greetings will be forwarded; if I remember.

    Choosing tires via review

Yeah, that is the worry with the 805... I haven't tried one yet so I can't comment. The 804 front works very well for me though... I will likely keep using that (and I have to... I am at 12000km and it barely shows wear!) If the 805 doesn't work out it's not a big loss, then I'll try a tkc or...

    Choosing tires via review

I have two sets of wheels for my vstrom and go through a bunch of tires: Last season I ran a Kenda big block rear, which is wearing fast... Will likely only get around 8k out of it, but I got it cheap, so no worries. It's terrible on wet pavement... I really have to be careful even with the...

Can you elaborate as to why? I checked out his website and can't find much to go on as to what his policies might be.

For the right-leaning members here, which Conservative candidate would you vote for?

I've never been very politically motivated but always leaned somewhat right... fiscally right, socially more left I suppose, as I do think mary-jane should be legal, for example. I've never joined a political party before, but this year I joined the Conservatives in particular to vote for...
