    Anything between track and street?

Only two green queens and a blue frenchman? Is that a typo? That sort of spare change wouldn't survive the price list at a Toronto cafe! Let's see if I can survive the downpour of FAQs and acronyms. Then I might have some questions for you and that lemur guy.

    Anything between track and street?

How does that work? Are there places that allow mountain bikes/trials bikes but not other off-road vehicles? I would have thought that gasoline engine = mark of the beast when it came accessibility. Mulling over a change from street to something else. Paying for the privilege of getting...

Night time riding? What is the really hazard?

Cruising around on the remains of the day is certainly enjoyable. Work has kept me from day-tripping this summer and commuting is a bit stale now, so I was forced to discover the charms of dusk. An old practice route makes for a perfect jaunt. Surprisingly, the sky is still free of...

Night time riding? What is the really hazard?

Rain. Rain is gonna make all the mentioned problems even worse, plus the bonus of reduced traction and braking. If you feel the bike squirm a bit, hear popping noises and are near wetlands, don't look down. They're frogs.

The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Absolutely. Japanese designers are a curious bunch. They can come up with some really great visual designs (even when hindered by price-points). Then, they forget themselves and hand us the Gladius. The newer SV is a step in the right direction, but it remains less coherent than the 1st/2nd gen...

Danforth shooter's brother had enough chemicals to kill 2million people

Scary music and jump cuts are like, total proof man. I have nothing against gay frogs, though. Very chill dudes and they always pay their bills on time.

Rain gear - what do you really need?

Have that wiper attachment on my heated gloves. It's easier to swipe with the fingertips (city) or nod my helmet slightly from side-to-side (highway). The first company to offer a decent visor wiper system will clean up (in both senses).

    Harley-Davidson Announces New V-Twin Sportbike

So you're saying there's hope? I wonder how few actually made it off the showroom floor. Like the first gen SV650N. Only saw it once, on Kijiji, a few years back. Anyhow, it's good to see HD looking at other segments of the market. Let's see what they deliver.

    Harley-Davidson Announces New V-Twin Sportbike

It never came to North America, but Yamaha's Bulldog (used the V-Star 1100 engine) was another cool character too.

    Harley Davidson Adventure Motorcycle

I like the look of that naked (not really a streetfighter--a proper sportbike without fairings). Sort of what they should have done with the Sportster all along, though I like Sportys too. The ADV bike is...well I just don't get the whole ADV thing. The class as a whole looks ugly + ponderous...

CB500x .....in my near future?? Thinking out loud.

You know, there isn't anything wrong with wanting (or buying) another bike. Wants and needs change. An elaborate bullet point justification shouldn't be necessary (though most of us probably do it anyway). If it floats your boat, sell off your other bikes and do it. Then post a thread about the...

Gas can illegal to carry in saddle bags?

I should hope that would be obvious to the OP. Otherwise, he stands to enjoy rites of passages.

Gas can illegal to carry in saddle bags?

If filled with diesel and hooked up to the engine, what do you think the range would be on that sucker? @Trials: That numberplate tank is a good example of thinking outside the box (tank?). Very neat. Running out of gas is a rite of passage for any rider, preferably in the middle of nowhere...

Sudden extreme Eye burn/stinging when riding- Dry Eyes...?

I encounter a similar problem from time to time, riding home from work. Once the stinging starts its only a matter of time before one (or both) eyes clamp shut. Extreme runny nose too. Human skin lubricates itself via sebaceous glands. It's oily, traps dirt and mixes with sweat. Eyeballs hate...

    Commuting in the heat

While every rider and commute is different, getting the right gear (and bike) makes all the difference. I switched over to a scooter and it's a pretty rare day I don't commute, even over the last few weeks. Those powerful crosswinds and naked lighting bolts were a bit crazy yesterday, though...

    Friday 13 OPP warning

Merch sales would almost certainly be used to launder drug money. Drug money that the government wants now that wacky tobaccy is legal. I'm sure that the 1%ers are no *angels*, but they don't wander around with openly carried firearms either. Buy your souvenirs and enjoy the day.

    what would you build?

I think we need that now, switch the slogan to "loud headphones save lives" and then everyone is happy. As for a proper fantasy build, there's no doubt: an electric chopper with Telsa coils instead of mufflers, so I could rock Dio via zeusaphone, shock brain-dead boomers and whip luxury cars in...

    rumored new cbx !!!

Come on, I'd love to see a Chinese CBX clone just for the poor workmanship alone, not to mention the fireworks if it actually started.
