Any big box store in the suburbs (Walmart, Canadian Tire, Home Depot, etc etc) should have a pretty sizable parking lot, you just have to find a time when there aren't many cars/people nearby. Usually late in the evening, or early on weekends.
At this point, not much to lose by trying. Although I'd try to get the shop to deal with it first before doing anything myself.
Seems very possible that the engine seized due to oil starvation and won't even turn over anymore anyway

In all fairness, I think the FZ07 and CBR650F are aimed at different audiences. They just kind of end up being grouped together because they're both naked (semi naked for the Honda) and around the ~600cc mark.

I read before the FZ6 isn't great on gas but damn I didn't think it'd be worse than a FZ8. I average about 6.5L/100km, the best I've ever gotten is 5.4 on my naked FZ6.
But then again, the vast majority of my riding is in town.
