    Failed the M2 Exit......

Maybe not to you, which is why you simply should have gone on to a topic that did/does interest you :) Veej. Thanks for posting. Lane position is probably why I would fail too. Something I need to work on. Good luck next time!

What did you do with your Bike today?

Hmmm...was that you heading north on Upper Wentworth? You pulled over for a passing ambulance. And to answer the question. Went for a short ride along the mountain brow. All tried to fit on some new saddlebags.

What can I do with an old motorcycle helmet?

As the parent of a child with an intellectual and physicial disability, I find this offensive. Shame on you!

Ivan Mavrinac, craftsman/founder of 'I.M. LEATHER GOODS' sadly passes away Mar. 29/12

Condolences to family and friends of Ivan. I never actually met him, but did speak to him on the telephone. Someone recommended him to alterations for me. Sadly, I waited too long to have him do this for me :(

The wait is over! New bike is finally here!

Congratulations! I'm currently riding a 125. Thought about getting the new 250 also. But don't like the slightly wider seat. Have fun and ride safe!

    a hypothetical scenario

It's always easy for people to say what they would do if they found themself in a situation. That is until they actually are in that situation. A woman who chooses to continue a pregnancy (the result of a rape) should not be judged. Her body; her choice.

should we take our bikes out?

I was out for a walk with my daughter this afternoon, and saw a blue sportsbike heading north on Upper Wentworth (Hamilton). Good for him! Hope he had a good and safe ride. Seeing the exposed skin on his lower back made me think "brrrr". But other than that, he seemed just fine.

Wrote M1, booked Safety Course...now wife freaking out?

OP. IMHO, this is probably the best response. Very wise words. There's no need to disrespect your wife, as some others have suggested.

    Husband and wife bikers

I think she's blessed to have you to ride with. I also don't like to ride more than 10 over and certainly wouldn't complain about someone waiting for me. In fact, I think that's sweet :)

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Just finished watching 'Knowing' (with Nicholas Cage). Seemed a bit far-fetched, at first. But then I understood. Thought-provoking movie. Recommended.

    Final Thoughts Of 2011

Strange, nothing really eventful stands out for 2011. The year just seems like a blur now. As far as riding goes, I hope to find my next new-to-me motorcycle and do at least one overnight riding trip. Happy New Year, everyone!

    Running.. ugghh

Thanks for the links, SunnY. Informative. But what I would still like to know is what is used to time the intervals, i.e. stop watch, 'Ironman watch', etc.?

    Running.. ugghh

Thanks for sharing your 2 cents. I'm interested in trying 'HIIT'. How would you suggest/recommend timing the intervals? TIA

    Why did you start?

In June (or was it July?), 1997, I spent two weeks in the Dominican on my "honeymoon". The only thing I remember about that two week period is riding a moped (in a little rain) for the very first time. My husband, at the time, was riding behind me, slowly. A few years ago, when mopeds started...

    Another new 250 - Suzuki TU250

Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to sit on this bike. I really liked it and would seriously consider purchasing one. As I've said several times on this forum, for me riding is not about speed.
