    Speed Limits Across Canada

You were talking about Ontario, so don't use Canadian two-wheeled vehicle statistics. Two-wheelers make up 2.5% of total registered vehicle in Ontario while making up 7.6% of deaths, which is a factor of 3.11. Remember, we don't ride 12 months of the year; jurisdictions where people have...

US129 a.k.a. Tail of the Dragon

To avoid the yahoos, ride the road during the week; gets pretty crazy on weekends. In September and October becomes much more quiet.

    Speed Limits Across Canada

The reason why Ontario has the high ranking that it does is due to "us". The "us" I mean are two-wheelers and the lack of them. The other jurisdictions in North America which have higher motor vehicle mortality rates have a greater make up of motorcycle and motorscooter riders than Ontario...

This good guy could have gotten in trouble.

That is one good neighbour; most people would not get involved.

Head on collision with Fire truck

It appears that he locked the front wheel (panicked due to target fixation).

    Who is this loser??

You're calling me Darwin for what reason? Am I a relative of the famed scientist or am I a proponent of evolution? Are you a politician where you can say that I did not say (the exact words) which you claim? You implied in your comments that you supported the actions of the motorcycle rider...

    Who is this loser??

Nice attitude you have. Crash into someone else then run to avoid the consequences. If you can't control your vehicle maybe you shouldn't be riding. What was so nice about the videos that zxter found? In the first video you had riders speeding in fog conditions; not exactly intelligent...

    Jack

We see only part of the interaction therefore we don't know exactly what is going on. Where is it written that property owners have to allow motorcycle riders to use their property? If the owner of the property is upset, apologize for your mistake (riding on their property) and be on your way.

    Stolen Licence Plate

Is this a must to get the replacement plates? About five years ago a company vehicle had it's plates stolen; when I went to Service Ontario office I simply had to present a Police Incident Number to get the new plates.

    Ninja 300 Crash

Guys like you: how many 8th place trophies do you have at home?

    Ninja 300 Crash

Why are you defending him? It has been posted that he did purchase a more powerful and heavier motorcycle. You then post that you should ride within your skill; I posted that unless he had a mechanical problem he doesn't have any skill. There isn't much to learn by viewing this video other...

    Ninja 300 Crash

I know it's not nice to make fun of another rider's misfortune, but what is wrong with that guy? Did he have a mechanical problem which prevented him from leaning (turning) or does he have a mental defect?

    Sideswiped by Van @ 75MPH

Yeah he states in the comments: "...do you know how many collisions happen in Texas every day? Doesn't matter to me how many others have collisions. Things worked out pretty well for the rider, but I would have filed a report. Since the rider had video evidence, the van driver may be charged...

    Sideswiped at roughly 40KM/H

It's not a "bad idea" to have one installed, but it doesn't always help. I have had a few people cut me off last year regardless of the use of the air horn. I knew that they heard it but chose to act anyway from the change in their body language (tensed up).

    Cars and Excessive Rolling Stops

Last night at about 2:00 am exiting Highway 400 at Langstaff road; ahead of me there was a Mercedes SUV (about 200 m). They signal their intent to turn left, slow and enter the left turn lane. I expect them to come to a stop as the traffic light is red. They slow to a near stop, then turn...

Has anyone tried the Sena Technologies 20S Bluetooth Communication System

I have owned the SMH10 for 5 years and have few complaints so far. Was thinking about upgrading but definitely don't like the price. Bought a dual set at Americade (5 years ago) for $200 US no tax. Can't justify the upgrade with all of the problems have been reading and the huge price.

    Big ass ticket

Re: Big *** ticket There isn't anything wrong with my attitude: I know the difference between right and wrong! I was riding my motorcycle one evening going home; I arrived at an intersection where a car driver turned left across my path. I had to save my own life as they did't do anything to...

    Big ass ticket

Re: Big *** ticket You seem to not be understand the concept of benefit to you. If you know that you are guilty and that you have little chance of winning your case on a technicality, then why not accept the lowered charge? Why cost our society additional costs? If you are not guilty or if...

    Sideswiped at roughly 40KM/H

Glad to hear that you are well physically. Not to dump on you but you should have stopped them and gotten the information for two reasons. With the adrenaline flowing thru you it is difficult to know if you are injured. What if you had been injured, who would pay for the treatment? Secondly...
