OP, seriosly just bring the bike yourself. There's a good thread on here (like 56 pages long) on how to do everything. I read it and was completely confident to bring motorcycle over.

Too many worried people on here. My plate is well hidden underneath the tail there. I've put 20k with it being like that this season and the only time I got hassled is by a bycicle cop chick at the red light. I just brushed her off, no big deal. Well worth it with all the free KM that I put on...

I personally know a guy who's running 2011 Honda CBR600RR with 7700km that was on it before he disconnected the cluster. He's probably at 10-11k.
