I had a new 89 CBR600 back then....these guys were my idols. We used to ride to the tracks and camp out just to watch this stuff. Foreigners used to even come to race here. Imagine that! I still wanna race these bikes.

I raced my first two seasons on my last R6, stock except for pipe and jets, and a steering damper. Stock tired suspension, OEM Yamaha brake pads and all. And still did pretty well. The bike was never the weak link in my program,LOL

The CB1100 is an awesome bike...Gorgeous, perfect in every way, but it's a $9-10K bike, that's MSRP is at $13+K. That's why it hasn't sold well. Too bad really because it's awesome.
