are you sure it was knocked over? if it fell over the side where the stand is, it could've tipped over because of crappy cheap asphault. The weather is heating up now so we have to remember to put something under the kickstand.
That bike is a wheelie machine! but don't ride them for long because you will blow your engine due to oil starvation.
Check out svrider.com for cool tips and upgrades that you can do to that bike.
its the charging system. The same thing happened to me this morning. These gixxers are notorious for crappy stators. This is my second time I need to replace in having the bike 6 years. The first time it only lasted 2 years. It's about $600+ to replace the stator/rectifier (parts plus labour).
sv650s is much sportier and better looking in my opinion. More aggressive seating position. Both of them fast enough to get you into trouble really fast though.
chances are the code you are getting has to do with the exhaust. Its a common problem with k6,k7 gixxers. It happens with the butterfly valve not opening and closing correctly. It basically opens and closes at different rpms to allow different air to fuel ratios.
I got mine fixed under...
thats how people get rich, the general public panic and sell their stocks, causing the price of the stock to drop. Once the fear stabilizes the prices will rise again. If you bought while everyone was panicing and cash out when everyone realizes the sky isn't falling you can make a lot of $$$$.
This is sad but I heard the comments on the tv and got mad. Some people/students think that GO train should do more like put up fences and make it harder for people to walk on or near tracks. (mind you they jumped the fence to walk on the tracks)
But why do when need to take extra precautions...
Just to clarify for the OP. You only lose money when you decide to cash out your stock when it is worth less than what you paid for it. I recently bought CIBC stock last year when the stock went from $84 down to $71. I bought a crap load. I will get about $1200 a year in dividents and the stock...
I agree that it HAS to be a rectifier/stator problem. Not a battery problem. If you replace the battery, the bike will run until the battery is toast and the issue happens again.
