Buying a bike with a lean on it...

Would it make sense to make out 2 bank drafts; The first for the amount of the lien and made out to the lien holder's name, and the other for the balance with seller's name.

What do you do, when you see a driver texting?

I ride up beside them, hammer on the window and ask for the time. And if there's kids, I'll blow-fish the window.

    Weaving?

that's a difficult call. what appears to be weaving might be deliberate avoidance of potholes or tracks or any debris. heavens knows, the roads are hardly like track conditions where even the smallest debris is flagged. again, my safety first.

    Need Help installing Stator

my guess is that there is a wiring issue; like loose connector(s), which has possibly caused regulator-rectifier to fail. you'll want to find the issue before you throw good parts at it, or you'll be wasting money alright. it might take even an awesome mechanic hours to find this, so get ready...

    Need Help installing Stator

where are you located? this is not a difficult job really. but you might ask the question "why did the stator go?" the electrical systems can be troublesome to resolve because there are many areas in the harness and connectors where resistance can occur, which strains the system and causes...

    Chain removal... grrrr....

You figured "the small one was more likely to push the rivet out of the old chain"? This doesn't sound like you had a handle on the physics involved. In general, the tool is setup in a way to shear off the riveting of the pin that you are trying to break out of the chain. The pin should be...

Complete newbie needs hand held with first bike >.<

go ahead and get your M1 through a road course provider (they provide the bike), then get the electric. you can work toward your M2 while saving on insurance. because i don't know alot of 23 y.o. that have the cash to put a gaz bike on the roads. but maybe you do. just sayin. ELECTRIC! i...

Complete newbie needs hand held with first bike >.<

I'm unsure whether someone has mentioned, but maybe an electric is the best value option? You don't require insurance. Obviously, the ego is a little less satisfied, and some will debate the points of safety, but I believe that anything on 2 wheels is an adventure in risk tolerance. Cheers...

need help catching a fraudster/scam artist

Call it a lesson? Sometimes a deal is too good to be true. I'm not making excuses for fraudsters here, but sometimes we have our own greed to thank. Something companies should start to consider more as they outsource our economy to the developing world.
