Re: Skydiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did a static line jump once with army issue circular shoot at about 3500 ft after 1 day instruction. Pretty awesome, but would love to get time in to be able to do some free fall diving from high altitudes.
Pad(s) that might not have correct installation hardware like clips and shims properly installed could be causing a high vibration squeal. Have the dealer look into it. I would be checking for correctly installed shims and clips. Pads should not be permitted to move freely from the caliper...
Re: Would anyone have a blind bearing puller with 20 & 45mm collet? (please & thanks)
Thanks all. Ya. I get the drift. hahaha. berry punny man. so i think a drift is also known as a punch of sorts. So I hated to be going that route but it seems I would be waiting for delivery of any real...
I think you're missing the drift bro. You don't need to buy a new SS bike to ride something impressive, which is generally why people just jump to the new SS bikes.
So you think they're not available? Check this deal out...
@vdk: Ha! You shoulda stopped and asked. hahaha. I started out doing chain maintenance. But seeing as though my rear hub sounded like a baby's rattle, I decided to do the prudent thing and take a looksie. WELL WELL WELL!! What did we find there? Axle bearing on the drive side with some...
yulp! i did that. nice deal. but you do need a hitch right. ;-)
this is a time issue. time = money. unless we're REAL good buddies, then you're in for a favor right. ;-)
Hmmm... Used can come with a big list of negatives with the biggest being the 'unknown' and lack of end-user support. So if you have the money for new, it will be a happier experience. And they say people with money aren't necessarily happier. In this case, I beg to differ. ;-)
Best if...
Would anyone have a blind bearing puller with 20 & 45mm collet? (please & thanks)
I would appreciate if anyone has or knows someone who has a blind bearing puller with 20 & 45mm collets. I need to pull a couple of bearings from the rear hub of my bike. The hub is removed so I can bring to...
I'll post some photos later, but... What I need is about 10 mins with a blind bearing puller equipped with a 45mm collet. Like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ArFC3xPHhGA
My scenario is the same as what you see in the video with some minor differences. Know anyone with a blind bearing...
i keep mine in my ***. the wires used to be a pain. sort of speak. but bluetooth makes things a little easier. rain is no problem either. yes. my *** is tight. just set it, stuff it, and forget it. :-P
EDIT: since when is "hat" a dirty word? meh!
Hmmm... would you mind if I drop in with my rear hub? I picked up the $25 3-jaw puller from Princess, but it's an impotent piece of cr@pp to be honest. Will return it and either find someone with the right tool or take it to the shop to have them extract it. The 3-jaw just doesn't grip well...
Congrats on being curious about your ride. More people should be. Expect to make an investment of time and money. Proper tools cost money. Hopefully you have a good work space. Otherwise, you will also need to invest time to understand how to complete work. Anyone can fix a bike. It's not...
I once had a lady cross the street while I was waiting at the light. She wanted to tell me something. "Hey! Your boy! I think he's sleeping!". Her concern was warranted given he was perched up on the pillion of my Fireblade. oops. :confused1:
Edit: Now I make sure to inquire with him on...
Should we be planning a going away party? When?
Say I do hop on this plane. And now I'm somewhere in the southern hillside country. Should I write the kids and wifey? How often? Should I let this disturb me while the breeze is blowing through my beard as I sail the twisties? I know. I'll...
