I was thinking more along the lines of that invisible cloak they have now. hire a guy to sit on the bike when not in use. shoot first ask questions later when an attempted theft happens.

The reason for it being illegal in cars is because cops can't see you when they approach your car. you can be digging around for a weapon etc. the cops want to see who and how many are i. the car when pulling someone over. dark tints hide that.
on a bike you can see the whole person. no one is...
I went from a Joe rocket hardcore Canadian lid to a shoei rf1100. Night and day difference on air flow, sound reduction and comfort. the shield is practically invisible.
but cost was a lot more. i picked up the rf1100 for 300$

There is a slight right turn and as im making it and looking through the turn i see a lady in her car driving south in my lane. the left most lane.
I didnt want to swirve into oncoming traffic and ccouldn't swirve into my right lane as there...
If Im behind a vehicle and there is a car making a left as we approach the intersection, I'll move to the left tire track to make my self visible to the left turner. than I'll move back to the right tire lane to give myself some distance incase they decide to make the turn in front of me.

Im downtown. this is my 2nd season riding. if you keep it small. no more than 3 people i would be interested in coming along.
A small group is manageable for first timers. hit a parking lot. practice some drills. learn on some small side roads.
I think it would go far in building ur confidence.
