Well to be fair, getting a full system or even a midpipe does free up about 10-15lb that is center mass on the R6.
That's why I said a midpipe and can will be some of the first parts I pick up this winter.
For track days only; I think the saved money from all this suspension stuff could be...
What do you think should be before my exhaust ecu flash and tune?
It doesn't have to be number 1, but those listed above and a gearing change will be my focus first.
The bike is pretty good in stock form
Well no, Most SS are close to 100lbs lighter.... 100lbs..
Plus there are lots of idiots that like to go above 120mph..
Jay bought one because, well he's Jay Leno.
Seen that bike, thanks!
Edit** Thought the price was higher. Not a bad deal, I wouldnt get that much for my bike though and don't want to have to put in money for a track bike..
Sorry to get off topic a bit here
I have a 2007 R6 and i'm looking to make it full track for next year.
I'm thinking about parting out the street parts, headlight ***, plastics etc..
Plastics have some scratches on them but still not too bad..
Just looking to get an idea of what I can part out.
Will post pictures if I get...
Not worth the 30k imo.
over 500lb top speed 120ish... What would be the point in this bike? A daily commuter?
No clutch or gearbox, no engine sound.
Seems to me that it takes the entire "fun" out of riding a superbike.
