Hey Diesel, is that water crossing on the way to Creemore flanked by 2 up/down-hills (the north side being steeper maybe 40-50 feet, south less so but washed out right by the water), north of 89?

I'm planning to take 401 to Oshawa/Whitby and then back-roads. Alternately 401 to 115/35, depending on the route and the way the wind blows in the morning.

Thought i'd post this here (instead of Rides) due to mainly off-road audience. Thinking of going out tomorrow and discovering Boundary road, HWY35 Roadside Trails and maybe the venturing into the Ganny. I'm on a Tiger with (worn) TKC80's so pace will be 'gentleman offroad' :) Can't promise...

TKC80 (not that i'm happy with them, but...) on a Tiger 800. Never really had a problem with terrain in the Ganny (except Boundary Hill, but that's a handful on even smaller bikes I hear). I just put the ego away, let the faster riders pass and take my sweet time in first gear. If you do get...

EeeK! Or keep an eye out on Amazon.ca. My tent was $60 and while it uses fiberglass poles (not aluminum) it still packs pretty small. Similar story with the Sleeping Bag.

2-man tent, underpad, sleeping bag, 2 sets of off-bike clothes, shoes, rain gear (top only) first aid kit and some non-perishable food and 'drink'... no stove this time. Bike is also loaded with full toolkit, including tube spares, etc... I decided to pay a little more for more compact...

Here's for a 2-day trip with a 1/2 full 30L GIVI duffel strapped to the back. I find that off-road riders have a tendency to be more economical in packing (likely due to the fact that the more you strap on, the heavier the bike is to pick up), so by comparison my pack was still larger than some...

^ It's a known issue with SVs, had this happen on my bike as well. Do check the oil, chances of water are slim but if it is contaminated the damage can be massive, again, speaking from unfortunate experience...
