Transport Minister says NO to speed limit increase

Well you have to admit turbodish, it's a stretch to imply causality on that data alone. There are many other things that happened from 2000 to 2004 and beyond, namely vehicles having many safety features implemented and a much greater awareness by consumers of those safety features. What would...

Either bike is a good choice, so you really can't go wrong, and it's unllikely to be your last bike. You know yourself better than we do, for this decision, what does your gut tell you?

    $6400 Owner's Manual?

Pre HST the tax payable on a private vehicle sales was PST (Provincial Sales Tax) but not GST (Goods and Services Tax). When those two taxes were combined to form the Harmonized Sales Tax, the Automobile Dealers Association lobbied the provincial government very aggressively to increase private...

The bike has to be upright for the sight galss to display the correct oil level, if you have it on the sidestand it will look empty. Put it on a paddock stand, or prop something under the sidestand and then read it.

    Shaky camera/Wind too loud.

Ok I was able to watch it now. The idea Matthew suggested of using a foam mic cover should help with the sound, the other thing that may help is if you can move the mic behind the camera (that's where it is on the GoPro) Also I noticed that as your speed decreased the image became quite clear...

What's a reasonable price for this bike?

If it's as you say -i.e. excellent condition- then if it were me buying I'd offer 5200 and be prepared to pay up to full price, IMO of course.

    Shaky camera/Wind too loud.

The camera you're using is just not designed for that kind of shooting, you might get better results by tucking it behind a pharing, or otherwise shield it from the wind. Here's one of my videos shot with a GoPro HD Hero 960 mounted on my mirror stalk if you want to compare...

riding a 250cc (or less) bike on the 401 (or other major highways)

You may not believe it if you haven't been on the highway yet, but on any bike capable of highway speeds it is much safer on the highway than on any surface streets.

Hello, Just bought my first bike =D

You might want to review the car driver's handbook as well as the motorcycle one - there's questions from both on the motorcycle written test. Good luck, and it's up to you, but I suggest that you don't ride until after you've taken the course.

    Advice for M2 exit course

Probably still a good idea to call a few insurance companies to make sure, but I'm fairly certain there's no advantage to you taking the M2 Exit this year (insurance cost will be the same with M2 or M).

Should online video result in HTA related charges?

Mine maintains date and time and I think camera model, but other than that I am not sure that there is any other meta data embedded in the file. As far as I know video does not have a metadata standard like JPEG does for example.

Should online video result in HTA related charges?

Yeah you all have confirmed what I was thinking. What made me start this discussion is that youtube and various forums are littered with this kind of self incriminating "evidence" it seems so commonplace that It's easy to forget what the ramifications can be, I mean this stuff is everywhere. I...
