Sears has Torque wrenches as well. JMO but if you're only getting it to do oil changes, I'd pass, with a crush washer in place a torque wrench is un-necessary.

Are you putting all your gear, including helmet, on at work and leaving with it on?

Apply some heat using a heat gun or hair dryer, it's easier if you wait until you are low on fuel, a full tank will prevent sufficient heat to build and will make removal a real pain. Once removed, use goo gone to clean up the remaining gluey mess.

Um... when did California enact helmet laws? last time I was there people were riding around with no helmets. Some amusing takes on laws: Pennsylvania - no helmet required on road, but helmet required off-road Delaware - you don't have to wear your helmet but you must have it with you Alabama...
