lube often. I usually lube after every other fill up (about 400 to 500 km), and clean after every 1000km
Kerosene works great but it will eat the asphalt it drips and soaks into. Something to keep in mind.
So this is coverage I'm paying for to help out MY insurance company if they decide to go after the OTHER GUY'S insurance company???
I thought we had a NO FAULT insurance program in Ontario, where your OWN insurance company covers YOU and only YOU.
How is this not a ridiculous extra charge...
What's wrong with this one? I always thought it was legal, as long as you weren't brushing up against the parked cars. On many streets, there appears to be more than enough room for a motorcycle or bicycle.
is it really necessary to "store" our bikes in the GTA? It's just 4-5 months. Take out the battery. Put in some Stabil. Fire it up and take it out for a spin in the winter if the weather is nice and the roads are dry.
It doesn't!
...but you do need to wear at least a bicycle approved helmet when riding an ebike, as well as be at least 16 years old. And you can carry passengers on an ebike provided there is a seat and foot rests for the passenger.
No reason why smaller pedals won't work. The pedals on the original scooter style ebikes were far from functional and downright dangerous (given how difficult they were to use due to their placement, how far they stuck out and how low to the ground they were), and they still passed.
It does have small bicycle pedals, just not in the marketing pictures.
You can tell it's not a real Grom up close. No combustion motor or exhaust is visible. It also runs silently...and slowly compared to regular traffic.
It's just a fun little toy. I probably wouldn't buy one though
Honda.ca's website shows a new 2015 model Grom going for $3,399. The ebike Grom knock off I test rode was sticker priced at $3,100.
Same ball park, as far as I'm concerned.
I test rode one today...and I gotta say, I liked it!
Quiet. Smooth acceleration (in a parking lot). Seemed to handle reasonably well at it's (limited) speed.
The EMMO Knight GTS. It looks just like a Grom.
That quote I posted IS right out of the actual report, in context.
Here's a little reading: http://www.nap.edu/read/18319/chapter/3#15
Bottom line: even when Obama ordered the CDC to research the health impact of guns, expecting a landslide of evidence to support every single ban and...
it would depend on how thorough your insurance claims adjuster is. If they found out that you were not medically fit to operate a motorcycle (they will obtain all your medical records if you file a claim) they could deny your claim.
Also, I'm not aware of any insurance company that would let...
Those aren't facts. They're opinions, and conjecture based on doctored statistics.
Even the conclusion at the end of your quote bubble states that attributing the decline to the NFA was at best an inference.
In fact, the article itself points to the already declining rate of gun homicides and...
I think it's worse to resign yourself before the fact and do nothing.
What's that saying? All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing
