    Lower leg/foot injuries and motorcycling

Sorry, don't mean to pry, but if you had an Achilles tendon tear/rupture, how is it that you burnt through 2 benefit plans and going on a second year of physio benefits? What exactly are they doing when you go the the clinic? The rehab from this injury can be done mostly on your own, with the...

New rider looking to finesse cruising in 1st gear and 2nd

What Brian said. Also, if you're going to cruise in first (which I wouldn't) you're going have to ride the clutch to smooth out the jerking while maintaining slight open throttle. Also the bike may have an area in the power band that it just doesn't like to linger in. Mine is 3500 to 4000 rpm

    Lower leg/foot injuries and motorcycling

Conservative management is going to take you a good 12 to 16 weeks. It will take awhile longer still to get your functional strength back. Be careful not to over-stretch the calf muscle. If you do, it will have difficulty generating enough tension to create functional power/torque

    What a chase.....

Wow. What an ****** that guy was. Glad they caught him. Looks like he was riding a v-rod. The other cop was on a ZX-14. I wonder if the cop on the bike with the camera was also on a ZX-14. Pretty cool that the Finnish police use ZX-14s. Looked like the bike with the camera was no more than...

We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot? Thanks for the great review. I really like the look of the Troy over the BAD (to each his own), but the Troy does not look like it is very ergonomic when it comes to the cheek weld. Are the rails on the Troy the same distance apart? (I ask because I was...

    2004-2005 Kawasaki ZX10r exhaust diameter

Could anyone with a 2004-2005 ZX10r stock exhaust system tell me what the outer diameter of the pipe is before the exhaust canister? Or, can anyone with a slip on exhaust canister for this bike tell me what the inner diameter is of the intake pipe that slips over the stock piping? Thanks in...

Carpal tunnel repair...too many years riding and computing

recovery from carpal tunnel release surgery is quite simple. they just snip the ligament that runs across the base of your palm at the wrist. The incision is about an inch long, in line with your middle finger. You just have to wait for the incision to fully heal (4 to 6 weeks) and then you...

Motorcycle hit while parked. Who's at fault?

your insurance will low ball you and likely say the bike is a write off for the amount of damage on it. It's not so much the amount in parts, but the labour involved in putting it all on. Be prepared to fight if they low ball you and don't budge. Have print outs of similar bikes and mileage...
