Personally in the summer I don't care if my hands get wet I prefer perforated gloves because they will dry quickly. I'm refering more to winter gloves, and I think the poster is too although I may be wrong there, which are good from 0 to 10 degrees. In all my years of riding I find they all leak...
There is no such thing as a pair of sustained waterproof motorcycle gloves for anything over 5 minutes of heavy rain. I wear some RevIt ones which are very good for cold weather riding and light rain. According to a few surveys the best ones are richa cold protect gtx. I will be purchasing a...
For me motorcycles have been a way of life since I can remember and I have ridden on the street for around 35 years. It has its ups and downs. For me its not a sport or a fad. Consider it like sex, fine food and wine/beer or even a marriage. Most of the time its brilliant sometimes not so much.
The Ducati Superpole seat for the 1098 is very good and I recommend it for taller riders. Don't wrap the exhaust. Not sure why your bothered by the heat but the only true way is to get an aftermarket pipe to eliminate the cat. The barnett clutch packs are good but nothing lasts as long as OEM...
To be honest greyGhost you would be pushing it to justify any benefit. Easy to inspect plates and basket tangs, easier to keep clean, runs cooler and looks good. Disadvantage open to the elements. I like mine open with easy access to inspect regularly but I also ride in all weathers so hey call...

Example of something similar

Folks I am selling a brand new red Ducabike ride height rod with central adjustment for $250.00 if anyone is interested. It will fit a Ducati 848, 1098 or 1198. These retail in the states for $295.95 and I'm sure if they were available in Canada they would be even more.
Here is my ebay listing...
Very sad to see Dave and his staff go. I had the pleasure of dealing with them when I purchased my KTM Superduke back in 2007. They will be missed. The community has lost one of the better stores without a doubt.
All my best wishes to Dave and the staff.
For those new here of who have been living under a rock for the last few years I'd like to recommend the Toy Hauler for all your motorcycle transportation needs. Reliable, honest, careful and didn't disappoint when I requested a bike pickup at short notice from Hamilton to Scarborough. TOPENDZ...
