Do you guys recommend back protector or a vest? A friend recently had an accident and even at low speed, his rib cage was severely damaged which got me thinking about a vest rather than a back protector alone.
What are the pros/cons of each?
Any thoughts/tips would be apprecoiated
Haha the GTAM trolls come out! there is a reason for all these riding etiquettes and rules and why many people get mad at those who break them. I sincerely hope it never happens to you or anyone. But if one day you get clipped by one of these idiot tail riders who cant control their bike or...
There is no justifying this!
Stay in your tire track and dont cross my back wheel! You wanna pass, switch lanes!
I cant believe this has to be discussed with people who have been riding for years! I was in a group ride this weekend and the guy behind couldnt regulate his speed! kept falling...
yeah i was stuck in it last night at 11pm!!
and like you said, that ramp has been in bad shape forever!
When i heard 'emergency closure' on 680 today, i was wondering what it meant too!
One of my biggest pet-peeves! Specially in higher speeds. My second year of riding, this idiot passed me in my own lane on a ramp at about 130-140kms. Not sure if he thought it was a race or maybe we were on track but the moron just flew by in my lane! All squid of course
It's NEVER ok to pass...
Ontario gave him a huge majority! There is a reason for it. Most of us were just sick of the liberals and leftists politics.
Let's hope there is some merit behind Doug's promises although ii'm not holding my breath.
Bottom line is, the left had a lock on this province for 15 years and we saw...
Its a rear tire so less risky to patch. Normally id sya do a patch from inside. I patched mine but my tire was 2 weeks old so def didnt wanna toss it and the patch held up perfectly fine.
For that though, the tire has to come off so not cheap and at 7500kms, i would not waste money patching it...
This is true. Hence the need for safer ways to "get the message across" to those drivers who almost kill you and then use their car mass to still push you out of your own lane and get their way...or wlse
Similar thing happened to me with a similar outcome.
But like others mentioned, dont go head to head with a car. A motorcycle can easily lose.
Get inventive instead.
I leave mine on all winter and even during the riding season, if im not riding for more than 2-3 days, i still plug her in. Mainly because i have a V-Twin motor which starts more rough than the in line 4s and my battery is 5 years old and still works lol So leaving it in wont do damage if its...
Yeah so now Skully Fenix AR issupposed to ship in summer at $1,899 US but as you guys both mentioned, you cant trust anyone anymore.
Plus this being a tech item, im sure the first few itterations will be plagued with issues.
Hence why i was wondering if there is a smart helmet out and rider...
The ones with HUD, cameras, built in speakers and ....
Are there any currently available for purchase?
Everything i find is some kind of gofundme campaign type promise in the future.
Anything available for purchase now?
Good for you brother!
I remember when many years ago i did my first oil change (also my first year) and like you, posted it here in GTAM all feeling accomplished, there were a few unamused members who came back with a less then encouraging "cool story bro" type replies! lol
I see the attitudes...
Like everything else, innocent until proven guilty.
I'd say the same thing if Wynne was on the hot seat or anyone else for that matter.
Allegations ALONE mean nothing as we have seen so many false accusations recently proven in court
Nobbie48, sorry to hear about your cousin passing away man! But youve got the right idea, spend it in the way she would've wanted you to!!
So many interesting responses! Actually a couple of pretty sweet ideas! Smart watch is fun but i have an iphone and the only smartwatch that is designed...
