Ya that's the pressure being released from the tank. It worried me the first time I heard it on my 250. I have some friends with 250's and we make jokes about it. The bike certainly has character. :)
Thanks guys for all the input. I wanted to do it myself but opted not to. Some things should be left to someone a little more qualified. I'm pretty sure I'll need some special tools too.
Does anyone know what the general cost to replace the fork seals should be. I was quoted $180 + fork oil. He also said it would take a day and a half to do. Does this sound right? :confused:

Ok I figured it out. Apparently the lenses were painted over. Some paint remover and cutting out the light sockets from the pods and I have indicators in the tail!
