Wait until you wear it on a hot and sunny day, leather will stretch and form to your body's contours. After several days you won't notice it on anymore.

Garage insulation and heating please give me some advice

OBC revision for 2012, permits issued this year must be as per new levels depending on zone. Residential walls will see R24, electric heating will be higher, previous code just shy of R20 But it's a garage and not new construction. Again, as suggested, thin profile polyiso on walls, greatest...

Garage insulation and heating please give me some advice

Very simple, A) Ramset strapping ( 1" x 3" ) on walls spaced 16" on center. Buy Polyisocyanurate foil faced sheathing, 2 layers of 1" and apply staggering joints. Tape last layer of joints with red tuck tape. Walls will have an R Value of R 13. By taping you have a vapor barrier as product has...

    Whose riding tomorrow?

I think that's great, impressive, not so sure. Why increase unnecessary injury to yourself ? I mean can you really ride as you would in May or June? I have a very good friend who feels he has to ride his bikes all year long so that we all know that he can, we love him and care for him deeply...

    Any SV650 experts?

Cant remember exact numbers, but pretty quick at times. I would not spend the money on inverted forks, just re-spring for your weight and emulators set at 4 complete turns and heavy oil. You may want to drop the front, raise the forks between 10 -15 mm for quicker turn in or raise rear. No need...

    Any SV650 experts?

Hi , I have what I feel is a pretty good and decent setup on an sv /04. I am no expert. If your near Oakville and want to drop by your welcome to come over and I could explain what was done. This bike handles so well and except for straights on a long track, can pretty much keep up with and...

    Jacket Repair

I also have a jacket with "sentimental" value, about 30 years old and the lining was shot. I went to a tailor/seamstress shop in the mall here in Oakville. My cost to re- line was $150.00 I realize that it cost more than the jacket at the time itself, but this jacket in my opinion is...

After using 2 torque wrenches from Canadian Tire that had failed on me, I bought the princess auto torque wrench several years ago and it has worked flawlessly for me since. In fact I used it today. Good product at a great price.

    Princess auto trailer

I happened to be in the Hamilton location this week and noticed that they have a similar trailer to that of harbor freight in a box that you assemble. The trailer looks to be built by snow bear and I believe it's the shorter version, say 4'x5 or 6' I cannot remember the exact pricing, around...

    Ever have bad riding days?

Don't fret Johnny 5, happens to the best of us. All you ever have to remember is one word, persevere. One day, and that day may be sooner or later than others, it'll just happen, everything around you suddenly slows down, yet your quite fast and you will know and grasp what "smooth" finally...

From an Sv650s to Yamaha R1.. too big a jump?

Absolutely, you should jump to an R1, no issues, only as fast as you want it go. Having said this , I track an SV and simply love this bike, very much usable power all the time. It does however lack proper suspension components in stock form which may be your dilemma to justify several $$$$...

    Simoncelli. MotoGP. DEAD!!!

My gut tells me he was going down, knew it, but being the champion he was, he held on and he tried to get the bike up in an effort to get back on track. And I believe with a little more experience, patience, coached in the right direction, he would have been as good as the best.
