This. A lot of motorcyclist tend to forget that manual gearing is not common knowledge and even though people learn how to upshift and downshift, there are a lot of other things that get passed over.
Not sure if I'm reading this right, but you sit in Neutral at lights? Probably a bad habit to teach new riders.
The rear brake is probably the advice you needed, I had a few moments of roll back before I realized it's nothing like driving a manual car uphill.
Yeah, but it looks like the cars to the right are off to the side. Probably a one lane off ramp that leads to 2 lanes, which explains the weird positioning.
There wouldn't be a point in doing a VIN check for a lien if you're getting the UVIP. I was just saying you should be doing a CarFax check anyway for other reasons.
On car purchases you should be doing a carfax check anyway, but either way, the UVIP is required on all used vehicle purchases or else you can't transfer ownership.
My buddy asked me to tag along when he was buying his bike and one seller had the nerve to say he didn't buy the UVIP because he...
Got my '03 ZZR250 earlier this year and now talking to a buddy about selling me his '69 Yamaha XS650 so I can work on it over the winter.
I want to get the ER6n next year to replace my ZZR, but I can't find anyone selling them and no word on if they'll start production on them again for next...
Re: Next Gen Suzuki Hayabusa and Kawasaki ZX14???
When do the companies typically announce their line ups for the following year? Automotive is usually the fall, not sure if motorcycles follow the same trend.
Sadly, no. The best part was it being slightly hidden from our view as it approached because of a car on its left being just ahead of it. So we realized what it was as it passed and you could tell, even with our visors down, we were both saying "WTF?"
Right, so based on how they respond to a theft you believe the world doesn't need police? You do realize that your average beat cop can't do anything, right? They tell you to make a report because at best he'll come out, take a statement and then have to hand it off to a detective. And guess who...
It's a common scam. Think about it, he posts the bike at $4800, gets a boat load of replies and then he tries to run the scam on all of them. The odds start to tilt in his favor given the pool of people he can select from.
I just use wired ones for my music. Wires never dangle because I thread the wire under my t-shirt.
On another note, has anyone had success with using in-ear headphones with mic in a helmet? I was thinking I could attach it to the smooth part in front of my mouth and attempt to take calls. Give...
I doubt it. You can't transfer ownership and the odds of you getting caught are pretty high. Easier to part it out considering it was a limited run and people would want spare parts.
Or I'm wrong.. How stupid people like that exist is beyond me..
