    Yamaha RD 350

To the best of my recollection my mid corner speed on tighter corners never got much higher than what that RD was capable of. Light weight and nimble handling are the hot ticket on those goat trail type of roads. The 80's were a exciting time to be a sport bike enthusiast with most models...

#$%@ GP Bikes just made my life harder

This or amazon. On the bright side tho the bolt is in a drill friendly spot and has a handy divot in the center. There are extractors that resemble a regular drill bit with LH tap threads on the upper portion that would be my choice if the other extractors don't do it. It appears that the bolt...

    Yamaha RD 350

Had a shiny new 81 RD350LC in white with blue graphics as my first street bike. Those were the days the insurance premium was a whopping $199 for the year. I did a heck of a job wearing the new off the poor thing. Got a first year Katana 1100 for my second year it was a slight step up...

    Pickup Trucks

Those strippers were likely sold in fleet sales guessing the purchasing agents were offered some heavy discounts on more optioned units and that coupled with dealers only bringing in the no option rides on special order by a customer killed the market.

building a ramp for a shipping container?

The stick would be a piece of unistrut and the fittings are the unistrut accessories that fit together like a grownup erector set to help fabricate projects without any welding or specialized machining. If you have time check out the online unistrut catalog their products can really simplify...

That's a nice looking newer can. If you are putting tape on wood at least prep it with primer or the tape will peel up quick. And a word to the wise make sure that the plastic pressure equalize vents or whatever they are have intact screens as wasps find them very attractive nest sites.

building a ramp for a shipping container?

A touch of nonskid or deck tape works wonders and is quite durable. And to add to my post i would have a look through the unistrut catalogue for some stick and fittings so the ramp can be bolted to the can for security.

building a ramp for a shipping container?

If you could live with the incline/decline of this short of a ramp this would be my first thought. https://www.kijiji.ca/b-gta-greater-toronto-area/dock-ramps/k0l1700272

    Dougie's latest plan

My biggest take away on the story is why the heck is NY times investigating municipal contracts in Toronto? Not like there is nothing going on with NYC corruption.
