Just quit smoking. This is hard!

Clean and detail your car's interior. Take vacation if you have it. Ditch the patch, it's not doing you any good.

Is Brampton gonna start a war?

The only thing Brampton drivers understand is fear. If I had to drive in Brampton regularly I would remove the right and left fenders from my Durango and cut the exhaust off at the manifolds. Dresden hit the nail on the head, Ethnocentrism is the key issue. My family and I were returning...

    2006 gsxr600 electrical problem!!!

Set your meter to resistance / continuity. Disconnect battery negative - Probe the red wire coming out of the reg/rec, the other lead on the battery positive. Any reading other than 0 ohms indicates resistance in the circuit. There's no need to turn the key on as the output from the reg/rec...

    2006 gsxr600 electrical problem!!!

You can see the green 30A fuse hiding under the transparent cover. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2006-SUZUKI-GSXR600-GSXR-600-STARTER-RELAY-p-/290331469577

    2006 gsxr600 electrical problem!!!

The -ve from the reg/rec is shared with the tail light, turn signals etc, so if they're working the harness is likely good. The +ve from the reg/rec goes directly to the starter relay where it terminates on the main fuse (30A). It is Plausible that this fuse is blown, allowing the bike to...

Is it legal to "squeeze" through to make a right turn?

Dude, that's right across the street from the Police station.

Hope you can offer some help to a car problem

I ran a set of 235 60 16 on my Liberty, was supposed to be 235 70 16. You do what you've got to do when the chips are down. I averaged about 5-6 KpH slow on the speedo and burnt a isht tonne of gas. A buddy of mine sold me a set of Wrangler take off wheels and tires for a song - 225 75 16...

    Any Niagara College (Welland) Grads?

My wife and I are considering taking the course this fall, anyone have any input on the course/facility? We may have to ride to the course on Saturday and Sunday, not looking forward to leaving a bike unattended for the day.

    Loud Vehicle Legislation Across Canada

Lol, I guess you're right. I'm stuck in the age of carburetors and points ignition.

    Loud Vehicle Legislation Across Canada

This is so long overdue. Our church is on Lundy's Lane, near the 1814 Battle memorial (they've constructed a wall on the one side that acts as an echo chamber, the other side of the chamber being the church) and you can hear the pipes fart and the intake honk as they rock up the hill and then...

Got a ticket for wearing a DOT helmet

If it's loud enough to draw the cops attention you're on thin ice and you should know better. If you don't want the attention, don't ask for it.

Tool Borowing... 1/4 or 3/8 inch torque wrench anyone?

^^^ +1 This. Borrowing a torque wrench is like borrowing a lover - you never know what you're going to get. My Mastercraft Maximum torque wrenches are re - certified annually (my employer pays). The guys that bought Princess Auto stuff are SOL, as the company that does the re certification...

    Crappy Parker's Thread

My bad, sorry about that folks - Gov't issue would be blue lettered, not black and have the 'bumble bee' sticker. - Commercial plate should have sticker up front, not rear. Wierd how it's 6 digit but the 'new' font. I will have the Mrs. apply 1000 lashings in your absence - she won't mind as...

I can't believe no one spotted this, that licence plate is owned and issued by the Province to one of the government's own - This person has clearly been identified as an *** hat - why pick on them?

To: Young Girl on red CBR125 on Allen rd N on Saturday

My wife just wrote the M1. It's more difficult to get an M1 than it is to get a G1. There are 3 tests that are 20 questions each for the M1 vs. 2 tests for the G1. M1 writers must know all of the same info as G1 riders plus through the final test show some knowledge of general riding...

    ATVs?

I'd lean toward the Polaris, especially if you can find a manual shift model. Avoid any hydrastatic Honda like the plague, basically anything built by Yamaha after 1990 (poor quality components - especially harnesses), the Cats I don't know. Any ATV you consider, look closely for corrosion...

Help: Plan to do 1st service myself

I'm just going to throw this out there, but the OP might want to reference the Owners Manual before attempting any kind of 'service'. What the 'Dealership' does can be VERY different from what the manufacturer calls for.

    Kraft Dinner

Yes, we do. Also the same fine cuisine served the day my Dad and I got the XR80 running after a top end overhaul, about 27 years ago. I cut the perforated lines with a knife and get a clean 'box top' every time.
