What gearing were you running? In my experience at TMP, I found that going to low on the gearing helps gain some time on the straight, but they loses it all in the infield. For example, I ran a low 1:22 with 14-45 (160 km/h on straight) and mid 1:23-1:24 with 14-42 (166 km/h on the straight)...
