Instead of replacing the plugs, you could just sand the carbon off of them really well and reinstall. I've been running the same plugs forever using this method, no harm done.

State Farm are the worst when it comes to tickets. ONE 6km/h over ticket pumped my policy up almost $500 a year. Friggen jokes. I changed insurance companies when my policy came up for renewal.

Ha! Nice. Yeah I could see that being a pain - but it's funny to imagine. Did you have any 'oh crap' moments on the trip or was it pretty relaxed? Were you carrying extra fuel? After seeing this thread and the Alaska thread, I'm seriously thinking about doing something like this also :)
