    Anyone here a cyclist?

Rear is flat already. One ride in. #facepalm I may have pinched the latex tube on installation, but I also remember the rear throwing a massive pebble sideways at a house nearby. It sounded awful.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I know, but the stock 23mm Ultra Sports seemed super close to the brake calipers already, and when I emailed Kona the guy who replied wasn't confident that 25mm would fit. The 23mm GP5000s seem a bit smaller than the Ultra Sports, but they still run super close to the calipers. I do notice that...

I put them on yesterday. They needed some convincing but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm guessing that yours are of the tubeless persuasion? I went with tube type (23mm) and Vittoria latex tubes. These things are fast! Managed to maintain 30km/h over a 30km loop today, first time ever.

Want to buy a bike but I have M1

Riding a supersport slow is still trickier than riding a 300 slow. Supersports are stiff and twitchy and unforgiving. 300s are light and nimble and a ton of fun. The only bike I've ever dropped while moving is @mistersouthpaw's ZX6R. Misjudged my speed, grabbed a handful of brake too late and...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

Agreed. I like the understated Cannons better. A local here has a murdered-out SuperSix EVO, it's noice.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

Still waiting on the new rubber. I have metal levers if need be.

    Yeah no. Don't fall.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I have Castelli bibs and Garneau shorts. Also have padded underwear for short rides when I don't want to rock the full spandex look - I just wear regular shorts over them. Full spandex is a must for long distances. Screw the haters. Reducing air resistance is key.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

You just need to fuel properly for long distance cycling. Camelbak is a must for a ride that long. Some people like using a caffeinated drink mix but it just makes me jittery. Regular Gatorade for this guy, then I consume a gel and/or a Clif bar every 45 mins. You can also bring a water bottle...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I hiked about 5kms of it a few weeks ago, the bit that runs along Hope Bay's north shore. Unbelievably beautiful. World-class stuff.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

Yeah b1tches Cabot Head Road was unbelievably gorgeous this AM. Highlight of the trip. Too lazy to reupload all the pics, y'all are allowed to creep my FB: I briefly considered pushing my luck to 200kms, but it was hot and my legs were gone after having to cover 45kms of gravel w/ worn...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

**** me. I just did a recon drive of my planned bike route, and there's this Cabot Head Lighthouse that's sort of on the way. 40km detour and 8kms of gravel to reach it though, and I brought my Kona w/ 23mm slicks. 🤔 I think I'm going to try it and turn around if it gets too sh1tty. Still...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

The guy I rode with this morning covers 20k kms a year on his road bike. 😲 I've done just over 2k in 3.5 months which I thought was good.

    Anyone here a cyclist?

Did 60k this morning, felt a bit sluggish. Will take a day off tomorrow and then do Hope Bay - Tobermory - Hope Bay on Sunday. 💪 If anyone wants to tag along, I'm leaving by sunrise to avoid Highway 6 traffic as much as possible. :geek:

    Anyone here a cyclist?

Yeah. The cheating is usually pretty obvious though, especially when a motor is used on a climb. If you look at the data the speed is too steady, and if the person is sharing their heart rate data you can clearly see what's happening. No one can climb a 15% grade hill for any amount of time and...

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I'm at this stage of the disease: (I only have two KOMs, and I know it's only because I'm in a small town. No way I'm going to take any crowns in the GTA, not without years of training.)

    Anyone here a cyclist?

I picked up road cycling in May after picking up an older Costco bike (Tonino Lamborghini) for 50 bucks. I fixed it up as best I could and put 32mm gravel tires on it for putting around Owen Sound trails. I ended up doing 1500kms on it including a metric century. Then a couple weeks ago I got...

    Afghanistan has fallen

For the record, I wasn't making fun of you. I didn't even mean to quote your post. Read somewhere today: "If you understand the situation in Afghanistan, that means it wasn't well explained to you."
