As most of you know, Canada can be quite the ***** when it comes to weather.
I recently purchased a set of Oxford Heated Grips for my GSXR600, and...
I think he said he road it to and from work, so I assume mostly highway driving, with some city driving.
I think the issue is that it sat for a year, so it could have just gotten dirty/corroded overtime, or something.
I'm going to check it out anyways, once a warm day comes around.
After going for a ride tonight and messing around with it, I’m under the impression that it’s electrical.
The issue I was having before about not being able to shift into gear was just me being dumb and not moving the bike (rocking it a tiny bit).
So the only issue is the neutral light doesnt...
****, didn't think about his age when he bought it...
Thankfully it's still low km's, so hopefully the guts aren't too messed...
I put 200kms on it since it was sitting. He said he had it out 3 times last year, which is what I consider as sitting for a year.
This is my 2nd bike, but I'm still...
24, married, kid on the way. So he was a more mature 24 year old than most, never dropped, seemed to be well taken care of. He never road it and it just sat for about a year with fresh oil and no gas.
He bought it new in 2011 I think.
edit- The indicator would come on every now and then if I...
I think it got up to operating temps. I’ll have to look it up, but it was at 86c when I was having the issue.
I also found other posts on another forum of people having issues with neutral on the GSXR.
I’ll play around with the clutch tomorrow.
Also, on one of the posts, someone mentioned the...
I just bought a 2010 GSXR600 with 14,500kms on it a couple weeks ago.
I've put maybe 200kms onto the bike since getting it and am having the following issue:
This is the first time I've experienced this since riding it.
I'll be at a stop in first, attempt to shift up into neutral. No green "N'...
I’ve been riding for about 7 months now and am comfortable buying a bike without safety.
It’s not hard to tell when a bike has been mistreated or taken care of.
My new bike, which I thought was going to fail the safety after I bought it because of no license plate light and no reflectors...
Re: I Saw You, Are you on this forum? V.2.0.
Saturday night around midnight riding through Waterdown on what I think was a cruiser with blue led accents.
Glad to see I’m not the only one risking a few finger tips to get a ride in.
Emergency stop with MTOHP, you speed up to 35kmph, then stop as quick as you can in a controlled (No lock up) motion within a certain amount of feet. It’s very easy.
Just got off the phone with CT and when I asked if they do motorcycle safety inspections, there was a long pause and then a “Uhh yeah, I think we should beable to do that. We have a guy here who can do it. You just need a nice day so he can take it out.”
Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t...
Okay.. next problem.. All the suggested oils that I’ve found whuke googling oil changes for my bike all seem to be in the States.. I’m at the 2nd CT and there’s no Rotella T4 10w-40, Amsoil, or Mobil1 7100
Any suggestions for a 2010 GSXR600?
Not too sure where a Suzuki dealer is. Even Google Maps only comes up with 2, both in Mississauga. One doesn’t have a website/any info, the other leads to a Kia website. They’re also 45mins-1hour away from me
I’m looking for a K&N-138 oil filter for my GSXR600. The last time I asked, I was told that Canadian Tire carries oil filters for all bikes. The one in my town doesn’t, so I have to go to Burlington or surrounding area to see if they have one, because their site says they don’t.
anyone know of...
I ended up getting $630 bucks back.. which I’m very confused about..
September-March is 7 months, 7x160= 1120.
so I got back more than half of what I paid in the 7 months I had my bike insured.. not that I’m complaining, I just didn’t think I’d be getting back so much.
