Went on another tour this morning. Have plans the rest of the weekend so now I will likely not be riding for a few days. :angry1: Though I think my body could use the rest. Amazing the different muscle you use when riding LOL, either that or it's just my age showing.
I may remove the Kawasaki someday. For now I'll be leaving it.
Thanks!
You could be right depending on the dealer, hard to say to be honest. My guy was able to get the green without issue though he did only see "two" on his system. He also told me not to settle for the colour I didn't want...
Well I picked up my Ninja today! Was so nervous when I first got on it. Had a hard time getting the feel again. Only stalled it once and that was when I was turning around and popped the clutch. After the first 15 mins I relaxed and was on my way. Kept to city streets and suburbs and never...
Will ride as safe as I can. Have my route home mapped out, nice and slow and nothing too crazy. Highest speed is 60kph. Once I get home I'll relax for a bit and really give Ninja a good once over and then head over to work to do some parking lot drills. If I feel ambitious I'll head down to...
I have the spare, the other key is in the bike at the dealership. They are just washing and waxing it up this morning and i will be picking it up this afternoon.
Will definitely be doing a lot of parking lot practice.
Oh, one step closer to the bike..... picked up insurance slip today, paid for the bike in full, ownership signed and have the attached pic items too. Tomorrow can't come soon enough
I believe your jacket should be fine because it is leather, mesh/textile ones require the back armour from what I recall. Helmet is cool. The gloves could be fine depends if they cover your wrist bone (well that's instructor told us). I had a Icon short gloves that barely covered my wrists...
I did RTI in Guelph, great course. I will echo the same things NtoxEk8d said, check your gear. If you have any doubt I would bring your gear to the evening in class portion. I would say almost a 1/4 of the people in my class were out shopping at Walmart to get the proper gloves or boots.
Hopefully I will fair a little better. I think I may just go in an get all the paperwork done tomorrow and then pick it up on Friday. That way I am relaxed and have the afternoon and evening to ease into things.
I am a bit nervous about my ride home, my dealership is on 2 lane highway just outside of town. I am just gonna jump off at the first side road that leads into a small suburb to take a half hour to get comfortable and relax a little. All I've heard is how new rider friendly the Ninja is so I...
I am a cautious driver now in days and I am really don't plan to drive past my abilities which lets face it is at a "beginner" level. Once I get my bike I plan to stick to parking lots and back streets will minimal traffic for the first few days. Want to get used to the handling and breaking...
Welcome! I am close to Guelph too. Just a beginner and waiting to go pick up my first bike but I think there are a lot of people from this area and the Tri-City area.
