when does every one stop riding??

Yep, Christmas Day's looking much dicier, given it's looking a lot colder tomorrow and we might get freezing rain overnight. Looks like today's a much better day (not sure if I can get out today) - just watch for high winds!

Motorcycle Parking Fees Recommended without Notice or Public Consultation

Thanks again Face. Haven't they been cracking down pretty hard on sidewalk parking recently though?

when does every one stop riding??

Glad I still didn't put her away yet! Was out today (which ties my previous record for latest ride in a year) and I might be pencilling in a Christmas Day ride with a friend. So much for a repeat of last year! Thank you El Niño!

    Best Warm Winter Gloves

I think I'm leaning more towards the thin liner gloves that can be worn inside existing gloves. That way I can transfer them between my motorbike gloves and my bicycle gloves.

maybe caught in the act but they got away

Well, so much for that! :P I guess silver caravans are now to toronto bikers what white tradesman or econoline vans are to kids on a playground?

maybe caught in the act but they got away

As long as the cops got the faces, it should be fine. I doubt you'd be able to do much to find them, even if you were some sort of self-styled vigilante.

Finished winter set up on my stunt bike the other week.

So are those just really thick tires? Because they look like street slicks in the photo before you stud them. I'm asking because I didn't think you pierced the interior wall when studding? Most tutorials I've seen (such as this particularly amusing one: )...

maybe caught in the act but they got away

Hm. That's actually good news in a way. If they're using the same van over and over again, it means two things 1): it isn't so easy for them to change vans (or they're just getting lazy) and 2): a lot of the volume must be the same guys. Small things that might not wind up mattering, but if...

2012 Yamaha R6 50th anniversary stolen from condo around square one

Sounds like a great way to destroy a sale to me. Not saying it wouldn't be a good idea or fair warning. But I doubt you'll see any salesmen interested in mentioning that little drawback.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Saw an R60/5 with sidecar parked outside of OCAD yesterday - thought it was a Ural at first, but nope this was a real classic. A little worn, but what a sweet ride!

when does every one stop riding??

I was out today... not far though, just zipped up to North York and back down. Still, it was fun, even in spite of the worse-than-usual afternoon traffic.

maybe caught in the act but they got away

Almost certainly it is. Good to report that sort of thing ASAP, though I'm sure they've already tossed the plate and grabbed another one.

Asian Small Bikes...what do they cost to build?

Whatever the political arguments might be, Taiwan and China are de facto separate countries at the moment and have been so for several decades. Culturally, they are similar, but don't think for a moment they're identical. In terms of manufacturing expertise, average quality, and pride of work...

Another question for the trades guys here

Yeah, I hear that. I've thought about relocating plenty of times. I used to live in Guelph and liked it quite a bit and I'd be equally alright with the K-W area and such. There are people who move to Alberta of course but I was born in Winnipeg and the money would have to be insane to get me to...

    Louannes Newfie Fries

Just remember the sizes are MASSIVE -don't go by container size. Or do go by container size, but understand they'll be filled to about three times their capacity.
