Exactly. My company doesnt have GPS in our trucks but its common among larger service companies.

Service companies use GPS to track their workers. Some companies not only know where their vehicle is but if there is someone in the drivers seat.

So whats the point of GPS in service vehicles?

My 800 is somewhere between 2-300 a Year I think. Not exactly a cheap activity. fuel, parts....it adds up quickly.

600 is enough power for sure. I had a bit of trouble finding someone to insure my 800 so thats also an issue if you decide you want something bigger than 600. The mxz would be my choice as well.
