If you're gonna be spirited I suggest taking 144, as you head south on 44/144, from coudersport. You're better off on 144, rather than 44, as the pavement is real nice. The last stretch of 144, tamarack rd, is a real treat with fast sweeping turns the whole way. 44 is a more scenice route...

The only problem with the 90 degree right hand bend before the bridge (it's the one I think where Jamie had his crash) is that can end up in a real cluster*** if taken too early and fast. Every damn time I've been there I see cars cross waaaay over the yellow. Even when they can see you coming...

I got 12k out of the orginal BT-015's that came with mine. Hopefully I get the same out of these. More would be awesome, but I'd be happy with 12-15k just coz the handling is so great with the Z8's compared to the BT 015's

got the Metzeler Z8's from petes (had a great deal on them) and had them installed by recidivist. Only got 2k on them right now, but they are amazingly sticky in the corners and real good in the rain. They're supposed to wear real well and I expect to get between 12-15k out of them, but time...
