I read a few of the replies, and my apologies for posting in this thread. My bad! I'm the idiot. I didn't realize that this thread was the track section. So I presume this issue is probably for race tires only.

Pretty sure it does; At least in Mid Jan to Feb. It's not heated right now, although I'd love to get it done this winter. I didn't have any tire issues last season, so I'm interested if anyone else has seen this happen!!

So what does that mean for everyone else that stores motorcycle in a unheated garage ?

I just ordered the tourmaster synergy heated gloves. Haven't tried them out yet, but the reviews are pretty awesome for the price. Plus I like that they come with the battery harness, regulator and other wiring all included.

I only see a 7.9 on the website. Not that I'd pull anything bigger than a 6.5 with a busa right now. I barely feel like I'm pulling anything, but it does take away from the handling when passing and when trying to corner a little more aggressively.

Nice! but would you be able to get a 19 cu ft trailer with a single wheel? Mine's only 6.5 but carries most of my kiteboarding and camping gear.

I pull a single wheel by third wheel trailers. It's the larger model (650) as it offers an extra cubic foot of space. I found it a bit weird the first time, it but got used to it in 20 kms or so. The nice feature about a single wheel is that it tracks with the bike on curves.

Macdoc - Sort of off topic. But I see a lot of nice twisties in the kawartha area (on google maps) and I do ride with friends that live in Peterborough. Do they have anything similar to 144 in that area or even the Muskokas? I'm personally not a big fan of the 507, but some stretches of 118 and...

the assumption here us that all manufacturers already have the said firmware in place. For the ones that don't its still an expense from a hardware and software standpoint
