It's interesting how logic dictates the formulation of some laws and not others. Wonder what governs the decision making process of our lawmakers.
Magic 8 ball or a coin toss?
Are we allowed to take videos/pics up skirts in public? Not sure if that's against the law in Ontario.
I'm sure there was a ruckus a few yrs ago across the border on someone pulling such a stunt in public. Was thrown out based on that fact, that it was in public where one cannot hold onto the...
I anchor my kiteboard to the rear and use my kite as an emergency parachute. The board acts as a wing and based on the configuration will allow me to easily to transfer more weight to either end of the bike.
On an emergency eject, I have super strong magnets that will attract the board to my...
lol. You had no option but to let the bike go. You were already going down. At that point it's no longer an option; unless you intentionally try to hang on to the bike for whatever reason, which at 70 kmph requires balls of steel I guess.
The question is what went wrong before you wiped out...
Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today
The only real justification is to overhaul the system for everyone. Maybe they can justify the long term savings by doing away with parking stations entirely and saving on hardware. Not sure what the city spends on...
Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today
Ah well, thx for the link but, I'm not sure if that will be relevant anymore based on later posts here.

Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today
Like I said, I really don't see a way of them enforcing properly and have any sizable revenue out of it; In fact I think they'd be losing money. Unless it's part of some initiative to replace the entire street parking...
Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today
I missed the segment on the John Oakley show @ 640 AM radio, but I did catch a bit of it this Sunday. Mr De la Grandiose stated the usual and said that this as far as parking goes they're evaluating and if it turns out...
Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today
In my opinion, the only way to realistically stop this from going forward is to get the 99.9% of city population that does not ride, i.e drivers, transit users, cyclists etc etc, to realize that this could result in a...
Re: City council voting on getting rid of free parking for motorcycles today
Why am I not surprised at this result?? I guess by next season, we'll know the outcome for sure. As alluded to above, I hope they don't **** it up.
