i would blame the sunrise ... i noticed her driving unaware of her surroundings for a while - i was not expecting it but past jameson i become more paranoid to what everyone is doing due to construction, being early in the morning and ppl are still sleepy and full dose of sun in your face making...
insurance is a factor but over 30 with a few years of experience and no claims (1 speeding though - minor) would be looking at about 50% more of what i am paying now (ballpark)
i personally would love the SS (damn D675 2013 no under the seat exhaust FU triumph) but i think for in traffic...
I would like to upgrade from a 250 ninja to something else.
I was considering D675 but the ergo is too much for DT riding (mostly work and the occasional outing with the wife ).
My other options (strongly considering them) are Street 675 rx, S1000R, Brutale 675 (would love dragster 800 but...
Sounds good. sorry about the R6 man, that was a rough tumble.
In my few years of riding have done some stupid things (riding cold, doing some stupid *****) always keep safe for the next season though.
On a side note this is what i got going the day after (Monday I think)...
Agree on all the points. - totally forgot about SMIDNSY, a good time for a refresher after a few years of riding
Some lessons learned (for other n00bs)
The reason I did not swerve was the left shoulder had accumulated enough garbage and pebbles and would have made it difficult to stop.
The...
hate that area especially when I got caught in 2 torrential rains on pottery rd and that forsaken place with tracks.
(i like streetcars though) - stay safe man
Thanks you guys. Will have to practice a bit of swerving (would have been a lot more useful in combination with brake slamming) and allowing more space (especially when tired after work)
.
@simon - think pooping is the only time us men can reflect on us and the issues we face - that and...
Looking for some constructive feedback on the video linked. (turn the volume lower as the camera mic is wind friendly)
I think it was lapse in concentration. My shin hit the bodywork while pressing the back brake - cannot explain the acceleration though. Reaction time was slow - about 2s. View...
I did it once and I had the legs and hands jitter and shake 1h after getting off the bike. Mind you was a bit downhill and only way 65kg.
If any police officers read this. I did not go that fast. The speedometer has a built in error of 70kmh :)
I have an 06 Ninja EX250 and put 8k on it in the past summer =total about 18000km. I ride it slow, I ride it fast, anywhere between 5Km/h to 170km/h is a fair game.
Oil change and filter is a must as well as a yearly checkup in the spring before it goes on the road.
I need to replace my clutch lever but I am not sure if the lever itself is compatible with the assembly. Currently I have the lever with the rotating adjuster 1 through 5 for the travel.
Now
past - to - 2007 all ninjas have 46092-1103
2008 - to -2012 all ninjas have 46092-0030
are the levers...
The bike had a revision check and all went good. they checked the carb for air leakage and a bunch of other things (spark plugs) and no issues. The bike does not stall/burn oil nor lack of power (for a 250).
when it is fresh (not all the time) a drop or 2 fall on the hot exhaust and smells like...
hi GTAMers?! - kinda assuming what we all are !
I have noticed it before but a few days back seemed too fresh of new (oil I think) on the outside.

cheers!
I also read that it is good from time to time to use the reserve as it collects water/debris and may clog the carbs. Thanks for the heads up ... today was happy - ran the bike for the first time in 3 weeks or more - battery almost dead so had to use the car for a quick boost .... now the...
Tried looking for one but could not find any (yet) - the bike did not come with one
