Lee Parks and Total Control are coming to Ontario

I've done Racer5 and this is better for learning skills for street riding. It goes over rider position, braking, line, and explains a lot of the reasoning behind each. If you are thinking of taking a track course, take this course first. Track classes just don't have the time to go into...

Lee Parks and Total Control are coming to Ontario

I'm hoping it's cool, because these cows that Velocity makes their suits out of have really thick skins and I sweat like crazy in mine. I'm also hoping to use my leather street boots rather than my racing boots as I don't really want to stand around in them. They aren't that comfortable...

    Motorcycle Speedo" never right!

No signal goes up to the satellite so your entire premise is incorrect. It tracks entirely by syncing signals from multiple satellites. The GPS is correct.

    Garage Space for rent?

Kneedragger88 offers it during winter storage, but I don't know of anywhere else and I don't think he would do the same thing during the Summer when he needs the space for work. Wait for Winter?

    Anybody bored?? (Gear Indicator)

If you have an extra DB15 connector that would be great, or if the bike side is the female side, I can just plug wires in. I'll book a time with you sometime.

What do to at the scene of a motorcycle crash

Even with my internet attention span I was able to watch the whole thing. What was that statistic; 8 accidents if you are riding between the age of 17 and 34? I've only had one single vehicle accident. It seems somebody else has been taking more than their share.

    Anybody bored?? (Gear Indicator)

That's awesome. Great work. This is why I'm being lazy about this, because I know mounting and tweaking the hall effect sensors on someone elses bike is going to be a pain. Just debugging TAFB's throttle position display took a while and it's pretty simple. I made my display for the LC-1...

What came first, the chicken or the stingray hide (sportbike glove topic)

They are in Pakistan, not China and I thought everyone has been spammed by Pakistan Motorcycle suit manufacturers. I assume there are a few there, because if you check e-bay there are adds on there for custom suits from Pakistan as well.

    Anybody bored?? (Gear Indicator)

Hey, great job! You mind taking a picture of how you actually mounted the sensors? I assume similar to the OP with the magnet on the shifter? Sorry guys, I've been way too lazy to actually put my gear indicator on an actual bike. I have to get someone over here to install it, but I just...

    Screwed

Lost my end cap and restrictor off of my TB pipe this weekend. I wear earplugs so I have no idea where I lost them. I'm pretty sure it was that orange ring you see in the picture. It's the gasket that came with the restrictor which was a thick rubber ring when I put it in and screwed the cap...

    Replacing the chain

Manuals I've seen say replace the sprockets with the chain, but I think practically you can judge for yourself by looking at the wear on the sprockets. At this point though, I would say you should probably change the sprockets. You should have a good amount of wear by now. It's my...

    Sena SMH5 dual set review

I would jump on these if they had a standard headphone jack or some way you could use your own headphones. I'm tempted to buy them then cut the wires and solder on my own headphone jack.

Wow! the BMW S1000RR beats Busa, ZX-14 in 1/4 mile

By .01 seconds which is not all that decisive. 10.26 seems very slow for a 2012 ZX-14. I'm assuming conditions. I mentioned this in the 1199 thread, but HP is not the HyperSports strong point.

    LMAO@ Ducati 1199's dyno number

ZX14's and Busa's are about the torque, not the HP. They redline at 11k RPM and don't compete in HP with the SuperSports. The dyno's I see for the stock ZX14 and Busa's have peak torque numbers just over 100 compared to the 85.9 on the 1199 graph shown. 2012 ZX14 I see 117 ft-lbs.

    Instrument cluster rebuilds

I can take a quick look at it if you don't find anybody else, but water usually means IC's are damaged and most of the IC's I've seen in clusters are usually only sourced by factories and impossible to get for individuals. I don't want to commit anything because debugging PCB problems can be...

    Scorpian EXO-1000 opinions?

Noticed this with my EXO-750. It has to be heavy rain and it takes a while, but eventually the inside is coated.
