It's a bike meet on Thursdays at Leslie St and Lake Shore. When you get your M2, I would gladly bring you down so you can check it out. It happens at night so you'll need your M2 to ride at that time.

I would love to come with you and help but Iceman is probably your better bet. I'm not particularly knowledgeable mechanically when it comes to bike. I can do little maintenance but Iceman would be your best bet to take with you when looking to buy used bikes.

Are you sure? I was told by a very good source who works in the motorcycle industry that they are actually illegal on a 400 series highway. He also owns a 125. He could be wrong but it's definitely something to look into.

Re: New rider need advice plz From what I've heard, it's actually illegal to take a 125 on a 400 series highway in Canada. The requirement is a 150cc or higher. There's nothing wrong with a 125 in the city. I had a 250 and am borrowing a 125 right now and because of it being much lighter...

You can roll in 1st when at a set of lights that is about to turn green to avoid putting your foot down for sure but definitely work on the GOOD habits before you get comfortable enough to cut corners. Get used to starting and stopping in first.

Never be discouraged by the size of cc's you ride. I know many people who could smoke someone on a bigger bike using a 250. =)
