No because it's secured on a hook located inside the trunk. I can sit on my bike, wiggle it back and forth with the back seat off and the helmet would still be secure.

Yeah, I heard that. I should look into it and show them the newspaper clippings from my accident and send in a picture of my helmet post-crash. It definitely did its job!

The scorpion exo-900 (modular) also has drop down tinted sun visor but I don't like modulars. I had a bad experience with the one I had. I prefer the full face for safety reasons.

I couldn't agree more. If cagers had any idea what bikers face when we're on the road, I would hope they'd have a better understanding and be more attentive.

Any hinged helmet gives me the creeps. I had a bad experience with a modular so I prefer my helmets to be in one piece and solid.

I do the downward angled peace sign if I'm not holding my clutch in. If I can't use my hands, I just do the obvious nod.
